Burglary Suspect Leaves Wallet Behind
web posted March 22, 2013 TRENTON – A Trenton woman met with a
deputy at the Sheriff's Office Wednesday to hand over a wallet and
drivers license that she found while cleaning a back bedroom. She told
the deputy that she did not know the man on the drivers license. She
went on to explain that her home had been burglarized prior to finding
the wallet.
The woman stated that she arrived at her home on the 3300 block of
Highway 19 in February and discovered someone had stolen her 32" Coby
flat screen television, $56 in cash and two penny jars.
She did not report the burglary at the time because she had left her
front door unlocked on the day of the burglary. She could not provide
the serial number for the TV.
The case has been turned over to the Sheriff's Criminal Investigative
Division for further investigation.
