Mama's Truck coming to Trenton, Bettis Academy area Saturday

TRENTON – Mama’s Truck will be making a trip to the Trenton area this coming Saturday, April 1, 2006, Pat Wilson said. Mama’s Truck, founded by Pat and Charlie Wilson, will be distributing 5,000 pounds of vegetables and bread to seniors and residents in the Bettis Academy and Trenton area. The give-away location will be at Bettis Academy Park from 9:00 am until 11:00 am before relocating to Edgefield.

Mama’s Truck will then travel to Edgefield at the Daystar Christian Center (next to the Pizza Hut) on Augusta Road from Noon until 2:00 pm. Pastor Wilson said volunteers were needed to help at both locations and plastic grocery bags, used to prepare the packages of vegetables, were needed.
