  Courtney Road home burglarized Monday, second reports broken windows web posted April 27, 2010 TRENTON – A Courtney Road woman arrived home Monday evening to discover she had been the target of a burglary. She immediately called 911 and waited in her car for Deputies to arrive to clear the home. No one was found inside the home and an investigator was called to the scene to process any available evidence. The home was entered by a rock being thrown through a sliding glass door on the back of the home. Once inside the person or persons then made off with a laptop computer, cash, and an undisclosed amount of jewelry. The woman left the home, located on the 100 block of Courtney Road, around 11 am Monday morning. She returned around 8 pm and discovered the burglary. Incident reports on the case were not available as the investigation was ongoing at this writing. A second Courtney Road home was reported to have been burglarized Monday morning, however; it is believed that children throwing rocks may have been responsible for the broken windows. At this time it remains unconfirmed that any items were taken from the home. Both cases are currently under active investigation. © Copyright 2010
