  Alarm thwarts burglary to Trenton business early Wednesday morning web posted April 29, 2010 TRENTON – The alarm system at the Trenton Bar-B-Que restaurant in Trenton helped thwart a burglary early Wednesday morning just after 2 am when a Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched and found someone broke a hole in the wall at the back of the building. Although able to make entry into the building, different attempts to enter the main dining area by the person or persons were unsuccessful. According to incident reports, the person or persons removed ceiling tiles in the women’s bathroom in an apparent attempt to enter the rest of the build from above, which failed. Reports also indicate that a chair was used to try to break a glass barrier to the main dining area which also failed. The owner arrived at the scene and reported that nothing appeared to be missing from the business. No estimate on the damages was available. © Copyright 2010
