  Trenton man robbed at gunpoint Tuesday morning web posted July 30, 2008 TRENTON – Sheriff’s Investigators began work on an armed robbery of a Trenton man around 3 am Tuesday morning. The man was parked at the Los Sancohos Mexican Store at the Corner of Woodyard and Pine House Road waiting to meet with an acquaintance when five or six black males are said to have drug him from the car at gunpoint. After the man was outside the car two of the men held him at gunpoint while he was robbed of a small amount of cash, a cell phone, ID, phone cards, and a calendar. The men then fled behind the store and ran towards the nearby apartment complex. The cell phone was found during the ongoing investigation on Tuesday and has been taken in as evidence. The man told the investigator he was called by a female friend around 2 am and was to meet her at the location at 3 am. She never arrived. The robbery is still under investigation and leads are available in the case. ©
