Burglary Reported at Trenton Home

web posted August 22, 2014

TRENTON   Burglars made off with nearly $1,000 in property from a Tennessee Walker Lane home Wednesday night. The owner noticed his garage had been entered when he saw a generator missing and began looking around and notice other items missing and called the Sheriff's Office.

According to an incident report, the generator was a Chicago model number 98838 6,500 watt that is blue in color. No serial number was available, but is valued at $500. The generator had a wheel and handle kit attached as well. Also stolen was a Poulan pole saw, SN#13330N3002054 model PP258TPC, a Black and Decker electric chainsaw and a heavy duty power cord with a 220 "volt twist" on one end and a "40 AMP" on the other.

An investigator was called to process the scene for evidence.

The owner said the last time he actually remembers seeing the generator was about a week prior and just noticed it missing on the day of the report.
