 web posted September 11, 2007 TRENTON – Auto thefts continue across the county with the latest taking place in Trenton. A Trenton man went to the Sheriff’s Office to report his light blue 1980 Ford F250 pick-up was taken from his residence and a witness provided a name of the suspect. The owner of the truck stated that a man driving a wrecker was seen towing the truck away from the location and is suspected to have taken it to a scrap yard. The witness provided the name of the wrecker driver. The truck was valued at $1,500 and would bring only a few hundred dollars from the scrap yard. The case has been turned over to investigators for further investigation. The Sheriff's Investigative Division is working several similar cases and has made at least one arrest unrelated to the most recent theft. For all
