Kuntry carwash? Edgefielddaily.com web posted September 16, 2005 TRENTON – Edgefield County Deputies were called to an accident on private property in the Bream Oaks Subdivision around 7:20 pm. The call started out simple enough. However, as things do, they go from routine to strange pretty quick in Edgefield County. As it turns out a vehicle was not involved with another vehicle, but a pond. And the pond won. It is unclear exactly how the driver ended up driving the vehicle into the pond, but he was at least able to get out of the vehicle before it sunk. No one was hurt in the “kuntry carwash” and Deputies called for a wrecker to come and pull the car from the water. The car was finally pulled from the water but there was no estimate to the amount of damage the car sustained at this writing. We will follow up on this story on our next update. We just know it has to get better.
