  Trenton man arrested for burglary web posted November 19, 2009 TRENTON – A Trenton man is in jail after being found with a gun that was reported stolen in a recent burglary. Hank Eric Veal, 25, was taken into custody around noon Wednesday, Edgefield County Sheriff’s Chief Investigator Randy Doran said. The burglary is believed to have taken place on Sunday at a small building used by its owner for hunting activities. Tracking down the suspect was fairly easy; they followed the footprints away from the building that lead them to his home. Inv. Doran said Mr. Veal was not at home on Wednesday so he went to his place of employment and was able to ask him about the situation. A short time later Veal took Inv. Doran to the .260 caliber rifle and was arrested. He is said to be cooperating with investigators. © Copyright 2009
