Another Trenton burglary reported
web
posted November 19, 2009
TRENTON – Another burglary on the 2500
block of Edgefield Road was reported on Tuesday afternoon that resulted
in almost $3,000 in property being taken from the home, including two
shotguns. The burglary was discovered after a family member stopped by
to check on the home while the owner is out of town and found a door
forced open.
Investigators processed the scene for evidence and the family member
was able to give a partial list of the items known to be missing.
According to the incident report, a muzzleloader shot gun, a Remington
870 shotgun, a Playstation 3 game system, and silver stemware were
reported as being stolen.
Additional items may be reported once the owner returns and takes
inventory of the belongings.
The burglary is believed to have taken place between 2 pm on Sunday and
1 pm on Tuesday. The home was located a short distance away from a
theft reported on Monday
to the home belonging to the mother of the
most recent victim.
Both cases do not appear to be connected to the arrest of a Trenton man
for burglary on Wednesday.
