 Couple arrives home to interrupt burglar web posted December 23, 2008 TRENTON – A Brightharp Road couple returned home Monday around noon to discover their home was in the process of being burglarized and called the Sheriff’s Office. The couple reported opening their front door only to get a slight glimpse of the robber as he fled out the back door. The report led to a two-hour manhunt in the area. Deputies began converging on the area as the Bloodhound Team arrived and began trying to track the suspect believed to be on foot. The only description the couple was able to provide investigators was that the suspect was male, around 6-foot tall, weighing around 230 pounds, wearing dark clothing, and over-alls. Investigators said they did not know the race or hair color of the man. Investigators processed the scene for evidence and indicated that nothing was taken from the home, adding that the couple may find something missing and report it at a later time. Deputies maintained a perimeter along Brightharp Road and other side streets while the bloodhound tracked, but they were unable to locate a suspect. ©
