Regardless of what you think about TRUMP
he's onto something. He is actually showing the linguini-spined
Republicans how to deal with their adversaries. How can you
tell? Listen to the media-they are squealing like stuck
pigs. Why is Trump questioning his birth certificate? Why is he
questioning his grades? Why doesn't Trump stick to the issues? Trump's
done nothing but cause a distraction for the last three weeks, and on,
and on, and on. Whaaaa, whaaa, whaaa.
Funny, when they questioned Bush's Natiaonal Guard record, and even
forged the document to support their allegation; made an issue of Bush
being a "C" student and how Kerry was much smarter; attacked Palin's
family, pregnant daughter, Downs syndrome child, etc.; how they
attacked Bork, Clarence Thomas, Michael Steele, Condi, etc. using just
some drummed up unsubstantiated charges, allegations, and innuendo; it
was all okay it was their American right to question. Yup, it's
okay for them to use those tactics to destroy their opponents, but when
someone like TRUMP comes along and plays by the same rules, they cry
like big baby bullies. Watch it unfold, the race card is next.
Whatever you think about TRUMP, he's using the BS issues to draw
attention to the real concerns. Looks like a good strategy to me.
People are paying attention. Deja Vu. There's always
someone, somewhere, that's willing to get down and dirty and fight the
fight, while others sit on the sidelines and cheer. Wonder if
Obama will file suit against TRUMP for defamation?

I was relieved when I heard that Obama was
FINALLY going to provide the country with his birth certificate. But lo
and behold, he presents a “Certificate of Live Birth”. This mean
nothing. Any state can issue this document. Only the state in which you
were born can provide a “Birth Certificate”. Obama must think Americans
are stupid. Until he provides a “Birth Certificate”, I will continue to
say that he is a Kenyan citizen, not an American citizen.

So you (the Editor) are a "birther" now? I didn't expect that.
Pres. Obama releases his birth certificate and you want to claim it is
a fake? Thanks for revealing that to the world.
Editor's note: I never said the document supplied was a fake. I stated
that the fact it had layers (as most generated documents or photographs
created have) was suspicious. As I stated, I could care less
where Obama was born. He could be from Mars for all I care. I
personally think he is trying to keep the issue alive to distract
people from his failures as President. He has tripled the debt in two
years (more than 200 years of presidents combined), devalued the
dollar, stopped domestic oil drilling, and wants higher taxes on those
who produce jobs while blaming those who produce jobs for taking them
overseas because of the tax structure supported by his administration.

This is a perfect example why many refrain
from watching news on ABC, NBC, CBS, or MSNBC.
Last week on a segment of the "Glenn Beck Show" on FOX (Fox Cable News)
was the following:
Even though President Obama is against offshore drilling for our
country, he signed an executive order in to loan $2 Billion of
our taxpayer dollars (which we can't afford to loan since we're broke)
to a Brazilian Oil Exploration Company (the 8th largest company in the
entire world) to drill for oil off the coast of Brazil ! The oil that
comes from this operation is for the sole purpose and use of China
and NOT THE USA !
Now here's the real clincher. The Chinese government is under contract
to purchase all the oil that this field will produce, which is hundreds
of millions of barrels"... We have absolutely no gain from this
transaction whatsoever!
Wait, it gets more interesting.
Guess who is the largest individual stockholder of this Brazilian Oil
Company and who would benefit most from this? It is American
BILLIONAIRE, George Soros, who was President Obama's most generous
financial supporter during his campaign. If you are able to connect the
dots and follow the money, you are probably as upset as I am.
Not a word of this transaction was broadcast on any of the other news
networks! Are they doing their job? Think about it.
Below is the Wall street Journal article confirming this information.

But when you send them to Washington (or Columbia) and they are giving
tax breaks to companies who are paying $0 in Federal Taxes - who do you

Thank you for sharing your story. Yours is the reason DSS was put
into place. It was meant to be a source of temporary assistance
for those finding themselves in need. It was never meant to be an
oasis for the lazy. We have allowed that to happen by not demanding the

just a few of the conditions that should be required to qualify or

Coach Mike Wood, this is the first time since 2005 that the ST softball
team has attended the region playoffs. The tie breaker for second
place was held between Batesburg-Leesville and Strom Thurmond last
night at Ridge-Spring Monetta. The final score was 5-3
(Batesburg-Leesville). Both teams played a great game.
State Playoffs begin Thursday and we will be traveling to Kershaw

Now that (former County Administrator
Alton) Brown is gone can you tell us what the real reason he got fired?
Editor's note: I cannot say formally why, but I will give you my take
on the situation. He verbally attacked sitting members of council,
ignored them, talked over them, bullied them, withheld information from
them, and pushed getting dozens of pages of content from Edgefield
Daily added to the minutes of the meetings. The latter is his gift to
the county by placing them in a situation where they will have to
defend a Federal lawsuit over copyright infringement. He made blatantly
false statements about me, not once but twice, on the record which is
actionable in State Court (and yes, the county will have to pick up
that tab too).
I'm sure the county council has their own reasons, but they're not
saying. I'm sorry to see him go. Every time he opened his mouth I added
another zero ($1,000 - $10,000 - $100,000 - ect.) to the total damages
I intend to seek against him and the county.
The county can protect themselves by removing his stupid additions to
the minutes of the meetings, but they cannot protect Alton Brown or the
county from personal responsibility for his statements on the record.

OK – I’ve had it! I have read all I
need to read of people’s opinion of folks on welfare and those
receiving food stamps.
So here’s my story: As a single mother of one child I started
attending college at age 40. I was told by the college that I
could only work 20 hours on work study and be a full-time
student. Being a full-time student and a full-time mother working
only 20 hours didn’t even pay my rent. My solution: I went
to the Department of Social Services and asked them to help me until I
finished college in two years. They didn’t hesitate. And
when I finished college and graduated in two years I wrote a letter to
the DSS and thanked them for helping me accomplish a dream that
otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to do. And, oh yes, DSS
responded to my letter and said “no one has ever sent us a thank-you
letter for helping them with a short-term goal.” I was
younger then.
Nowadays, I’m retired, having worked for 50 years and my only income is
Social Security, getting less than $800 a month. When was the
last time you lived on less than $800 a month? You darn right, I
asked for food stamps. Quess how much I get. That’s right,
$44 a month. Let’s see, that’s about four gallons of milk these
days.
I just wanted to write to you complaining, judgmental folks and
let you know that there are people out here who have worked all their
lives, have less than six children by “different men,” who
appreciate all the help they’ve gotten when they needed it and didn’t
take advantage of the system when they could have. Next time
you’re drinking wine beside your pool or driving down the road in you
BMW, remember me and many more like me. And the way things are
these days, you may be walking in my shoes real soon.

After learning that the Edgefield county
school votes on a school calendar each year, and "they" decided since
Good Friday did not coincide with their spring break they decided not
to observe this holiday I was nothing less than appalled. Something
must be done! It's an outrage. It just goes back to the old saying If
you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything. I was once a
child attending Edgefield county schools and our spring break never
coincided with the "Masters" and we always received Good Friday off. It
outrages me that the school will close at just the chance of snow but
not to observe this significant day in history. Something must be done,
the more people that ban together, the better. Let's do something about
this. They have already taken prayer out of schools what's next
Christmas????
Editor's note: We must indoctrinate children into the secular "mother
earth" mantra in order to further those who make false claims of
"global warming". God is insignificant in their minds. "Students" are
forced to adhere to the secular and political agenda while forsaking
the basic Godly foundations of our nation.

In reference to TAPS, this program was
implemented with good intention however, it is not being handled
properly. When the program was originally started each school in the
district was given the opportunity to vote on its participation. Later
it was determined, that some principals made the decision without
getting the teacher’s input. I am also concerned about how the
teacher evaluations are being handled. Each teacher is evaluated 4
times a year with 2 announced and 2 unannounced. It has been
brought to my attention on numerous occasions, in several different
schools, where teachers are being informed of their unannounced
evaluations. Apparently the master/mentor teachers have “friends”
and therefore the evaluation scores are very biased. So if you
have a friend that is observing you, you may get wonderful scores, but
if you have someone that dislikes you, you will suffer because of
it. From my understanding, “friends are evaluating friends”
and this is causing a major uproar in our teaching
community. It is also putting a lot of unnecessary stress and
work load on teachers, as if they don’t have enough already.
Secondly, the evaluations are also based on how well your students
perform on map testing and pass testing. A teacher cares for their
students and how well they perform, however we all know students will
sometimes score low. Teachers will do their best to bring these scores
up, but sometimes this is not always the case. I am concerned
with the overall situation and I really believe it is all about getting
the extra money, rather than what is best for our students. This matter
really needs some attention!!!!

O'REILLY: Check three. On the CBS program
Face The Nation, anchor Bob Schieffer interviewed Congressman Paul Ryan:
SCHIEFFER [Video Clip]: I guess the question I would have, Congressman,
why do these rich people need another tax cut? I mean they're already
rich. They seem to be doing pretty well as it is now. Why cut their
taxes some more?
SCHIEFFER: If the country is going bankrupt, if the country needs to
borrow 40 cents of every dollar that it spends, how do you help that by
reducing the amount of taxes that the richest people in the country
pay? It would seem to be that's where you get revenue.
O'REILLY: Well, Mr. Ryan stated he simply wants to keep the tax rate
where it is because if it rises the economy may be hurt. Standard
conservative vs. liberal argument with Mr. Schieffer taking the liberal
position.
Wrong, O'Reilly was lying. Here is the quote right from the Republican
majority House Budget Committee's summary of Rep. Paul Ryan's FY 2012
budget resolution:
Calls for a simpler, less burdensome tax code for households and small
businesses. Lowers tax rates for individuals, businesses and families.
Sets top rates for individuals and businesses at 25 percent. Improves
incentives for growth, savings, and investment. [House Budget
Committee, 4/5/11]
Bam, O'Reilly is busted lying once again, and of course he was lying
for the Republican. And then on top of that he was trying to make Bob
Schieffer look bad, while doing it during a so-called reality check
segment.
That's what O'Reilly calls reality, lying about what a Republican wants
to do. And notice he
Editor's note: I notice that the quotes are from different interviews
and are incomplete and are misleading. A common tactic of the liberals
who control the Democrat Party. The interview was between Ryan and
Schieffer, not O'Reilly.
Lying discredits your claims.

No one has been able to
explain to me why young men and women serve in the U.S.
Military for 20 years, risking their lives protecting
freedom, and only get 50% of their pay in retirement. While
politicians hold their political positions in the safe
confines of the capital, protected by these same men and
women, and receive a "full pay retirement" after serving
one term. It just does not make any sense.
Monday on Fox news they learned that the staffers of Congress
family members are exempt from having to pay back student
loans. This will get national attention if other news
networks will broadcast it. When you add this to the below,
just where will all of it stop?
35 States file lawsuit against the Federal Government
Governors of 35 states have filed suit against the Federal
Government for imposing unlawful burdens upon them. It only
takes 38 (of the 50) States to convene a Constitutional
Convention.
This will take less than thirty seconds to read. If you
agree, please pass it on.
This is an idea that we should address.
For too long we have been too complacent about the workings
of Congress. Many citizens had no idea that members of
Congress could retire with the same pay after only one
term, that they specifically exempted themselves from many
of the laws they have passed (such as being exempt from any
fear of prosecution for sexual harassment) while ordinary
citizens must live under those laws. The latest is to
exempt themselves from the Healthcare Reform... in all of
its forms. Somehow, that doesn't seem logical. We do not
have an elite that is above the law. I truly don't care if
they are Democrat, Republican, Independent or whatever. The
self-serving must stop.
Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution:
"Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of
the United States that does not apply equally to the
Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make
no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives
that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United

Whether the son is culpable or not in his daddy's pyramid schemes,
hundreds - perhaps thousands of local residents have been hurt by the
name Rainsford. There are enough angry people who would favor
anyone over someone picked by a Rainsford. As a result, count on
any close race being taken by the opposition party.
The county Republican party is either tone deaf, ignorant, or in league

A few weeks ago, AFA alerted to an attack
by homosexual activists against the Christian-owned Chick-fil-A company.
In February, a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Pennsylvania donated some
sandwiches and brownies to a marriage seminar hosted by the
Pennsylvania Family Institute. Because the seminar promoted marriage as
between one man and one woman, pro-homosexual activists launched an
all-out attack on Chick-fil-A.
Some started calling the company's main product "Jesus Chicken," while
others mocked and belittled the company's "Not Open on Sunday" policy.
They even smeared company employees, calling them "anti-gay."
Chick-fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy built a 1500-restaurant chain on
his "personal and business philosophy based on biblical principles."
Something else you may not know:
Chick-fil-A plays Christian music in its restaurants...exclusively.
Chick-fil-A closes all its locations on Sunday...no exceptions.
Chick-fil-A's stated corporate purpose is: 1) To glorify God by being a
faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us; and 2) To have a
positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A.
AFA is encouraging you to "BUYCOTT" a Chick-fil-A restaurant during the

Another piece falls into place.
In a press conference last month Obama was not wearing his wedding
ring, nor was he wearing his watch.
When noticed, his staff said his ring was out for repairs. No
reason was given for the missing watch.
So it's just a coincidence that Muslims are forbidden from
wearing jewelry during the month of Ramadan.
Can't possibly be that, because although he hasn't gone to a Christian
church service since entering the White House, we know he's a committed
Christian "cause he said so during the campaign!"
And I've got a bridge to nowhere to sell you also. This is the same
president that spent the Christmas holidays in Hawaii to avoid
religious obligations as PRESIDENT at the White House. His children do
not receive Christmas presents.
Let's just face the facts and quit trying to tell the truth, we have a
Muslim for president in the White House, and he has no knowledge of
American history. Hey guys, if we're not paying attention, Muslims will
soon rule the world.
Put God first in your life above all others. Regardless of who they are!
PASS THIS ON TO BELIEVERS OF WHAT IS HAPPENING IN OUR COUNTRY AND TO

Does anybody remember the reason given for
the establishment of the DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY..... during the Carter
Administration? Anybody? Anything? No? Didn't think so!
Bottom line: We've spent several hundred billion dollars in
support of an agency...the reason for which not one person who reads
this can remember! Ok, Ready?? It was very simple . . . and, at
the time, everybody thought it very appropriate. The Department
of Energy was instituted on 8/04/1977 TO LESSEN OUR DEPENDENCE ON
FOREIGN OIL. Hey, pretty good, huh???
AND, NOW, IT'S 2011 -- 34 YEARS LATER -- AND THE BUDGET FOR THIS
"NECESSARY" DEPARTMENT IS AT $24.2 BILLION A YEAR. IT HAS 16,000
FEDERAL EMPLOYEES AND APPROXIMATELY 100,000 CONTRACT EMPLOYEES, AND
LOOK AT THE JOB IT HAS DONE! THIS IS WHERE YOU SLAP YOUR FOREHEAD AND
SAY, "WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?"
A little over 34 years ago, 30% of our oil consumption was foreign
imports. Today 70% of our oil consumption is foreign
imports Ah, yes -- the good old Federal bureaucracy!!
NOW, WE HAVE TURNED THE BANKING SYSTEM, HEALTH CARE, AND THE AUTO
INDUSTRY OVER TO THE SAME GOVERNMENT? Hello!! Anybody Home?
Quietly, we go like sheep to slaughter.
Editor's note: Not to add insult to injury, or maybe yes. While
President Obama has stopped the US from drilling for oil in the Gulf of
Mexico, his administration has given $5 Billion to Brazil to drill for
offshore oil and stated the US would be their "best customer".
It seems Obama wants to "spread the wealth around" globally, not just
to his dependents here at home.

Our Governor and legislators are
determined to fight the unfunded Obamacare bill requiring people to pay
for health insurance. However many may not be aware our state has its
own version of Obamacare. Did you know if your child attends a four
year public college in the state of SC your child is REQUIRED to pay
for health insurance, if your child does ot have Health insurance
they can deny your child's admission to the college? no you
cannot opt out of it. it is required. when I requested help
with college expenses during my custody hearing i was told to wait
until the kids were ready for college, when they were ready for college
I was told they couldn't required him to help with college or insurance
after HS. that's not true, you can file a motion to continue child
support but Aiken County clerk of Court never told me about
the motion and request form to continue child support. so its OK
for our state to fight an unfunded mandate requiring health insurance
claiming they are looking after the state and our citizens best
interest; but its perfectly acceptable for them to pass a law requiring
health insurance for a person to attend college. If you cant afford it,
your child cannot attend a SC public 4 year college. I am so glad
education is such a priority in this state, so glad we care about the
poor who work hard to earn scholarships only to be turned away
due to a lack of health insurance. Hypocrisy is alive and
well in our state government.
Editor's note: We have sent two of our children to a local university

insurance (car, health, or otherwise). It may be a requirement if your
child is receiving government loans or grants in order to attend. We
pay for tuition out of our own pocket and that is the only
"requirement" we have in order for our youngest (the only one attending

Congratulations to the voting members of
the County Council for bringing in a temporary Administrator who has

opted from being part of a vote which would have shown solidarity.
That's too much to expect and certainly not in the true Monroe Kneece
Democrap voting tradition. If Cocaine Jackson were being voted in for
temporary Administrator our two Democratic reps would have shown more
interest. And let's not forget Brother Bibbs and his tireless efforts
in finding gullible voters to transport to the Johnston voting precint,
as assisted by Cocaine Jackson who also did some transporting. Isn't is
against the law for Cocaine Jackson to drive? I would like to know

Good Afternoon/Morning/Evening to all,
I love reading all of this stuff as it all pertains to getting closer
to personal lives of the sleepy town of Edgefield. It is a disturbing
part of reality I guess we will all have to deal with b/c of this blog…
Now down to solving the problems of the world just reading a few we
have obesity, health, elected officals, and a host of other grand
“American” Problems.. Lets take this one step further… Now, our
healthcare system is good I really don’t want to hear anymore about
this.. simply put go ahead and nationalize healthcare take a look
around the world and history and you will know one thing.. it will
bankrupt a already “rupt” system end of story and it will cater to the
“bad” docs (possibly) because well the best is going to make ya pay
right? Therefore we will have overcrowded hospitals (as we anticipate)
BUT we will introduce the larger problem of having the good docs
possibly go bankrupt themselves and basically not be able to pay off
loans and therefore seeing into the future docs/nurses all of these
things decline in school.. now this will in time pick up naturally BUT
you will never see a better system of health and a better docs ever
again you will be FORCED to go to well the one that pays the polician
the most, or that caters to the laws that people in Washington make for
you. Don’t they make enough descions that put you in the gutter?
Obesity.. my stance is well free will Ya’ll eat be fat and happy if it
leads to your depression you caused it its all on you. Its not to me a
national issue to me its an issue that people want to make national. I
really think this all boils down to personal choice and therefore if we
intervene with this well Mcdonalds is gone Hardees is gone or serving
different food (which who can really say is a bad thing) still the
issue with making this an issue is there… basically to me its like
saying cigs should be a national issue.. its all personal choice what
you put into your body enough govt regulation in that area anyways
(drugs). Lastly, elected officials… dui’s , crime and all that great
stuff they do not go along with leadership of an elected officials
position however I offer this question Christians of the biblebelt..
how long is long enough to forgive? How long do we sit back and say
this person is a law breaker before well he isn’t anymore.. does he
have to pay the debt to society before moving on to better things? Or
should be be simply forgivin for his wrong doings as we all make
mistakes and break the law.. DUI’s for me .. come on.. its like this..
I drink and drive and get caught… but tomorrow I am sober.. but this
will stick with me forever? Some way some how it doesn’t seem right to
label people based on these simple facts… maturity goes hand in hand
with this truly understand both sides of the argument but hear this its
not you or me (socity) that is repaid for these actions it’s the state
and local government even the feds get a slice of that one.. we as
people do not win this either way we are forcing others like us that
make mistakes and pulling them into a jail cell for a somewhat
considered victimless crime.. run over someone well that’s
murder… whatever pay the price.. until that day dui’s ok fines classes
whatever you want that’s fine but to judge character based on a nightly
character of an indidual that doesn’t exist and will not ever exist
again (as you drank that night to that limit that once the next night
you may drink different limits on a different type of alcohol or NOT AT
ALL) is almost a judgement call that well I just don’t wish to make
upon anyone.. and feel like its just wrong to make.. they should carry
punishment yes yes the harshness of the punishment (comeon hippies back
me up), fines, and classes.. come on.. Cornerstone doesn’t exist
without DUI’s, your lawyers get paid off dui’s, the state does too..
somehow that person is left with nothing man.. as most people in DUI
situations did not have much to loss anyways.. connections.. come on
how many “upper people” do you know that have told you will I got
stopped drinking and driving well me personally I know a few.. now, not
one of them was convicted.. lawyers , connections did this for them..
there is no equal grounds with DUI’s I know feedback on this will be
horrorific but until you get but in that position know this.. if you
pay a lawyer and don’t blow.. take the classes and you will get off..
its really that simple.. MADD and other organizations along with govt
intervention in personal life has made this crime a step in the wrong
direction.. only because there is no equality here.. honestly you cant
use case examples for this its just personal exp. One last thing 70’s
you could drink and drive in the drivers seat… well if everyone is
hounding about drinking and driving why is this now an issue.. ? Money
money money you cant tell me its not.. or what does it look like? In
closing, my movement as a young man in this county , educated to the
brim with knowledge and working a job that a college grad 20 yrs ago
would even scoff at (as far as the pay goes), lets try this for a
change. Lets vote out Republicans lets vote out democrats and lets
elect ourselves as this will help spawn the only real change. Psci 101
will help you realize this will and cannot be done these guys are like
ticks in Washington and other places of high power.. so well I don’t
see it any other way than marching on those people and telling them to
go away.. History history… there is only one way to remove people in
power that do not and will not move (money is obviously power here)
violent revolution. French , America all of these are starts and basis
of study of how to remove yourselves from a society that kills your
paychecks, kills your jobs, kills your ecomony.. I mean the politicians
didn’t give us money (welfare) no no we worked for that in mills your
grands all of them… it was taken away in a short time national debt
doubled in 3 yrs that took along the lines of 60+ to create why?
Corruption , belief in corp America, and belief that you are not very
smart.. which well most of you are not .. why is this.. because you let
the theif come and you see him.. and do nothing to stop him.. violent
revolution keep it in mind . Although I think that we can come to
agreements with uppers I don’t think we will ever see them leave their
post to give the working man a shot at running this country (and to my
belief with a good cabinet you will succeed no matter who you are it is
proven really throughout historical documents and white house library
of congress.. blah its there..) I will leave you with one last thought
what sounds more accurate to describe your situation here in the states
that God Blessed America ? or that God Da**’ed America? You decide…

The right was granted by the same powers that permitted your choice to
stuff "tons of candy and french fries and all the other crap" down your
gullet - our Creator and the Constitution. In my pursuit of
happiness, I do not choose to blindly accept the information that
bombards us daily from the media. I questioned information that
was broadcast over public airways and set out to verify if the
information had merit. I may exercise this right provided I do
not infringe on the rights of others. Since the observation was
made of the general public, in a public place, and no attempt was made
to identify, or divulge the identity of those observed or verify what
was in their shopping cart, their individual right to privacy was not
violated. As for passing judgment; never was a statement that
these folks were good or bad, happy or sad, or beautiful or ugly ever
present. As a matter of fact the only person passing judgment was
you.
Congratulations on taking steps to improve your over-all health.
Oh, and instead of being pissed off, you might consider embracing,

Re: Editor's note: Why is that a
"national" problem?
I never said it was a "national" problem, but now that you have
mentioned it.
Obesity becomes a national problem when our health care systems are
flooded by weight related issues such as heart, kidney and liver
disease, diabetes many others.
Obesity becomes a national problem when SSI disability benefits due to
weight related disabilities are skyrocketing.
Obesity becomes a national problem when workman's compensation claims
and on the job injuries attributed to weight increase every year.
Obesity becomes a national problem when employee absenteeism due to
weight related illness is on the rise.
Obesity becomes a national problem when, under the Americans With
Disability Act, a business must provide accommodations for weight
related issues, cutting into the company's bottom line.
Obesity becomes a national problem when the growth hormones that are
pumped into the products consumed in excess are resulting in early
pubescence of young children.
With all that said, I am not advocating legislation. But I am
concerned that everyone must take control of their lives and even take
steps to intervene in the lives of the people they care about. Their
husbands, their wives, their children, nieces, nephews and
grandchildren.
Editor's note: If you are advocating self responsibility I agree. But
anytime someone uses the term "we", they are usually talking about the
taxpayers or the productive citizens, not those sitting at home
collecting a check.

Maybe they are building a bigger building
this summer? Or maybe they think that Edgefield parents won't be
sending their kids back to Fox Creek next year, but they are actually
advertising for students on pizza boxes. Dominos pizza in Aiken has a
flyer they are distributing looking for Aiken and Augusta students to
attend Fox Creek. They are also waiving the out of county fee for
the first 60 students.
They boast being rated Excellent by SCDOE, which they say is the
highest ranking of any school in Aiken or Edgefield Counties.
They don't seem to mention their 0 and 10 football season. Did they
advertise school report cards in 2009 when they were graded Below
Average which was and lower than STHS? Excellent was also earned by the
great people at Aiken Performing Arts Academy, so actually they tied
for best rating.
Please tell me how in this budget environment, they are going to waive
out of country fees? What is the fee? How much revenue is the school
giving up to accept 60 students for free? How much school money was
used to pay for the printing and distribution on all of the pizza
boxes? Please let the school board know that Fox Creek is waiving fees,
so obviously they don't need our money.
Maybe Dr Murph should not be advertising for students on pizza boxes,
he should be advertising on milk cartons to see if anyone has seen his
dignity.
Editor's note: My question would be, why aren't they seeking Edgefield
County students they are here to serve?

It's late fall and the Indians on a remote
reservation in South Dakota asked their new chief if the coming winter
was going to be cold or mild.
Since he was a chief in a modern society, he had never been taught the
old secrets. When he looked at the sky, he couldn't tell what the
winter was going to be like.
Nevertheless, to be on the safe side, he told his tribe that the winter
was indeed going to be cold and that the members of the village should
collect firewood to be prepared.
But, being a practical leader, after several days, he got an idea. He
went to the phone booth, called the National Weather Service and asked,
'Is the coming winter going to be cold?
''It looks like this winter is going to be quite cold,' the
meteorologist at the weather service responded.
So the chief went back to his people and told them to collect even more
firewood in order to be prepared.
A week later, he called the National Weather Service again. Does it
still look like it is going to be a very cold winter?''
Yes,' the man at National Weather Service again replied, 'it's going to
be a very cold winter.
'The chief again went back to his people and ordered them to collect
every scrap of firewood they could find.
Two weeks later, the chief called the National Weather Service again.
'Are you absolutely sure that the winter is going to be very cold?''
Absolutely,' the man replied. 'It's looking more and more like it is
going to be one of the coldest winters we've ever seen.
''How can you be so sure?' the chief asked.
The weatherman replied, 'The Indians are collecting firewood like
crazy.'

Don't you just love AMERICA? I know
there were a lot of nervous people holding their breath during the
Nathaniel Jackson electon. Not me. I have faith in the
American people. When the time has come to always do the right thing,
it has not been the government, not corrupt judges, not the special
interest groups, not the unions, etc., to get things done-it has been
YOU! The American. "We the People" put all those aside and right
the wrong. Throughout out history we have donated to thos victims of
natural distastors, we have given our blood treasure to make others
free, and yes we have acted as the world's policeman ensuring brutal
dictators pay for their misdeeds. However, our system of justice
has been corrupted to the core. We have child molesters walking
the streets that should be in jail, we have felons running and at times
getting elected to public office, we have racists running our schools,
we have philanderers in our schools setting a fine example for our
kids, we have corrupt politicians, we have corrupt public servants, we
have PC police telling us where to smoke but holding their hands out
for federal taxes on what we smoke, we have food police, we have a
system that police things instead of people, you'll get fined if you
smoke in a car with a child under six in the car, but if you're a crack
head, your walking the streets, and on, and on, and on.
For those of you AMERICANS in District 1, you can hold your head
high. You came out to vote, to do the right thing, against what
some believed a deck stackd against you-the NAACLP involvement and
support, Brother Bibbs acting as a taxi and shuttling voters to the
polls, and yes, even Nathaniel Jacksn acting as a taxi, driving on a
suspended license and he too was shuttling people to a fro to get the
votes. It didn't work because you can never break the spirit of
an American. Yes, we are slow to anger, yes we really don't want
to get involved, yes we don't want to get our hands dirty, and yes we
always want to be kind, even to thug politicians. But when you
awaken the American, you better hide. As Winston Churchill
recognized and said, If you ever go to war, get the Americans on your
side.
Thank you all. You woke up and you did your job. Now I ask
that you get involved even more and lets clean our schools up. We
need to get rid of stupid policies, enact common sense policies, do
away with all this political correctness and turn our schools back into
places to learn instead of places to hang out.
I've said it before, I'll say it again. Obama truly is the best
thing that ever happened to this country.

but thought I would do a little research on my own.
One day I sat in the parking lot of a local grocery store and observed
the patrons entering. I was amazed to discover that approximately
7 out of 10 people entering the store looked overweight. Of those
7, five would probably qualify as obese. And, even more shocking
of those 5, three would
be easily considered morbidly obese. There was no categorizing
based on race, sex or age.
Speaking from experience; I am 5' 8" and at one time weighed in at 240
pounds. That borders on morbidly obese. I am now weighing
180 and still in the 7 out of 10 group. I did not have a
glandular problem, only a problem with self-control when it came to
eating. As I am sure is the case with
most overweight folks.
Our health, and the health of children is at stake. We must get
in control.
Editor's note: Why is that a "national" problem? It sounds like a
"personal problem" to me. Where do "we" get involved in one's person
problems? Do you need government to force you or your children to go on
a diet?

Not a single visual of chest-beating or wild grief. Sorrow itself has

2. THE DIGNITY

gesture. Their patience is admirable and praiseworthy.
3. THE ABILITY
The incredible architects, for instance. Buildings swayed but
didn’t fall.
4. THE GRACE (Selflessness)
People bought only what they needed for the present, so everybody could
get something.
5. THE ORDER
No looting in shops. No honking and no overtaking on the roads.
Just understanding.
6. THE SACRIFICE
Fifty workers stayed back to pump sea water in the N-reactors. How will
they ever be repaid?
7. THE TENDERNESS
Restaurants cut prices. An unguarded ATM is left alone. The strong
cared for the weak.
8. THE TRAINING
The old and the children, everyone knew exactly what to do. And they
did just that.
9. THE MEDIA
They showed magnificent restraint in the bulletins. No silly reporters.
Only calm reportage. Most of all – NO POLITICIANS TRYING TO GET CHEAP
MILEAGE. (Politicians from other countries- are you listening?)
10. THE CONSCIENCE
When the power went off in a store, people put things back on the
shelves and left quietly.
With their country in the midst of a colossal disaster - The Japanese
citizens can teach plenty of lessons to the world.

Put me in charge of food stamps. I'd get rid of Lone Star cards; no
cash for Ding Dongs or Ho Ho's, just money for 50-pound bags of rice
and beans, blocks of cheese and all the powdered milk you can haul
away. If you want steak and frozen pizza, then get a job.
Put me in charge of Medicaid. The first thing I'd do is to get women
Norplant birth control implants or tubal ligations. Then, we'll test
recipients for drugs, alcohol, nicotine and document all tattoos and
piercings. If you want to reproduce or use drugs, alcohol, smoke or get
tats and piercings, then get a job.
Put me in charge of government housing. Ever live in a military
barracks? You will maintain our property in a clean and good state of
repair. Your "home" will be subject to inspections anytime and
possessions will be inventoried. If you want a plasma TV or Xbox 360,
then get a job and your own place.
In addition, you will either present a check stub from a job each week
or you will report to a "government" job. It may be cleaning the
roadways of trash, painting and repairing public housing, whatever we
find for you. We will sell your 22 inch rims and low profile tires and
your blasting stereo and speakers and put that money toward the "common
good."
Before you write that I've violated someone's rights, realize that all
of the above is voluntary. If you want our money, accept our rules.
Before you say that this would be "demeaning" and ruin their "self
esteem," consider that it wasn't that long ago that taking someone
else's money for doing absolutely nothing was demeaning and lowered
self esteem.
If we are expected to pay for other people's mistakes we should at
least attempt to make them learn from their bad choices. The current
system rewards them for continuing to make mistakes and bad choices.

Has America become the land of special
interest and home of the double standard?
Lets see: if we lie to the Congress, it's a felony and if the Congress
lies to us its just politics; if we dislike a black person, we're
racist and if a black person dislikes whites, its their 1st Amendment
right; the government spends millions to rehabilitate criminals and
they do almost nothing for the victims; in public schools you can teach
that homosexuality is OK, but you better not use the word God in the
process; you can kill an unborn child, but it is wrong to execute a
mass murderer; we don't burn books in America, we now rewrite them; we
got rid of communist and socialist threats by renaming them
progressive; we are unable to close our border with Mexico, but have no
problem protecting the 38th parallel in Korea; if you protest against
President Obama's policies you're a terrorist, but if you burned an
American flag or George Bush in effigy it was your 1st Amendment right.
You can have pornography on TV or the internet, but you better not put
a nativity scene in a public park during Christmas; we have eliminated
all criminals in America, they are now called sick people; we can use a
human fetus for medical research, but it is wrong to use an animal.
We take money from those who work hard for it and give it to those who
don't want to work; we all support the Constitution, but only when it
supports our political ideology; we still have freedom of speech, but
only if we are being politically correct; parenting has been replaced
with Ritalin and video games; the land of opportunity is now the land
of hand outs; the similarity between Hurricane Katrina and the gulf oil
spill is that neither president did anything to help.
And how do we handle a major crisis today? The government appoints a
committee to determine who's at fault, then threatens them, passes a
law, raises our taxes; tells us the problem is solved so they can get
back to their reelection campaign.
What has happened to the land of the free and home of the brave?

let's see what the new board can do to turn things around. I hope they
look at all the wasteful spending plus the low morale of many of the

The Sheriffs “buddy” claimed the Sheriff got the truck from a drug bust
– I did not. He implied he was in the know. I implied (figured) that
there are some abuses of what should be considered assets of the people
of the county/ state. I consider the tricked out and very unpractical
truck I saw Mr. Sheriff with a selfish abuse - period.
Many are supposed to be public servants and/ or be good stewards of our
tax dollars and all other assets for that matter. Fact is it’s not
happening. It appears two groups of people sending us all into the
tank. On one hand you have the egomaniacal, self-centered and greedy so
called public servants and on the other you have well-meaning but
wholly unqualified public servants who believe that money comes from a
money tree. If someone wants to tell me that Mr. Sheriffs truck and

RE: "We cannot blame the white people any
longer."
Bill has pretty much summed it up. The only thing is, it's too easy to
blame the whites instead of taking responsibility.
Take a look at the Lumbee Indian tribe who refuse to take govt.
handouts. They are thriving, have good jobs, and beautiful buildings
and homes.
The other American Indian tribes that have followed the same path as
black America and held their hand out for a govt. handout are in the
same drug and crime infested, run down communities. Govt.'s got you
where they want you- poor, stupid, and relying on them. The Soviet
Union and N Korea, the same way. Govt. elitists lived a life of luxury
while the populace was forced to rely on the Govt. and starved and
lived in squalor.
Bill has it exactly right. But instead of restoring their pride, the
black community railed against Bill, calling him an Uncle Tom and a
traitor.
Look at what he came from and what he has, and what he did to get
there. I'll bet he's glad he didn't choose the same path as his
brethren.
So you choose black community - Bill Cosby, or Nate Jackson? Betcha
Bill doesn't defecate in a bucket in a house with no power.

You're absolutely right. We should give it a rest. After
all it happened 20 years ago. But what about the fraud he
committed in 2006 when he ran for the same school board seat-saying his
residence was in Johnston and it wasn't? And what about in Nov
2010, running for the school board saying his residence is in Johnson,
and it isn't. It took a liberal judge to turn a blind eye and
allow him to run, not the law. What about the fine he still owes
the State Ethics Committee, but is such a deadbeat he has yet to pay
it. What about having his water shut off by the water company
because he is a deadbeat and can't pay his bill and skips out.
What about the Federal IRS Tax Lien he still owes on? And,
And. What about the 3rd offense of driving without a license of
which he awaiting trial?
You see, you can ask us to forgive what he did 20 years ago because he
paid his dues. But reality is, he is a thug, a deadbeat, and a
criminal, and regardless of who forgives him he continues with the same
criminal behavior. Ya just can't change the spots on a
leopard. If he was a pedophile or child molester 20 years ago,
would you give it a rest? Probably not because everyone knows
there is a recidivism rate with that type of crime. Obviously, he
has shown that he too has a recidivism rate. If you want a thug
to represent you or be a role model for your children, go ahead, elect
him. But when your children still live in drug and crime infested
govt. housing, get govt. food stamps, receive handouts, and are subject
to a corrupt education system run by thugs, DON'T YOU DARE come crying
to anyone. You have lived with these false promises for the last
40-50 years by your beloved Democrat Party. Are you any better
off today, than your grandparents were? I bet not. Go ahead
keep drinking the 40, ooops! I mean Kool-Aid. Go ahead elect that

Fox Creek Football 0-10 for the 2010
Season. Stripped of all winnings - was it lack of attention to details
or skirting the league rules by the head football coach / athletic
director?
Well, it certainly paid off for D. Schneider and Dr. Tim Murph to have
attended those football conventions. While other sports at Fox Creek
High School are robbed of having any funds. Fields and referees are
provided but little else. Unless the sport is football. Then you get
fields, a practice field that is off limits to other sports, blocking
dummies and all the works. Check with any other sports program at any
middle school or high school - funds are shared appropriately. It's
well understood that football is the most costly but also enjoys the
most attendance in gate sales. There are multiple sports at Fox Creek
that receive zero equipment beyond referees, fields and minimum game
equipment.
This problem goes to the top, the majority of the board allows this,
Dr. Murph allows this and Schneider funds what he wants to fund. And in
his better judgement has thrown a whole football season away either by
knowingly skirting the rules in multiple sports with ineligible players
or not paying quite enough attention to the sport he seems to solely
care about to keep it out of trouble let alone not know enough about
the other sports he is responsible for. There is only one solution for
this situation and it does not take a rocket scientist.
It is a shame for all the students who are actively athletically at Fox
Creek as well as their fans. The football players have been cheated out
of a season by a lack of judgement or for the reason of lack of
appropriate knowledge and involvement like the other sports that are
constantly cheated out of dire needed equipment. It's the students who
pay the price. For many, it was their last season, whether they were a
cheerleader, a player or a fan. The coaches will have many other
seasons because as usual, nothing will be done because of the
entrenched buddy system. If your child is a football player at Fox
Creek, it's time to step back and ask if your taxes are getting your
money's worth and if you are a parent of a student in other sport - it
is your right to know where the athletic money goes! - anon

What he drive, Where he stay, Where he work, Who you be...
And I blamed the kid until I heard the mother talk. And then I heard
the father talk. Everybody knows it's important to speak English except
these knuckleheads. You can't be a doctor with that kind of crap coming
out of your mouth. In fact you will never get any kind of job making a
decent living.
People marched and were hit in the face with rocks to get an Education,
and now we've got these knuckleheads walking around. The lower economic
people are not holding up their end in this deal. These people are not
parenting. They are buying things for kids. $500 sneakers for what? And
they won't spend $200 for Hooked on Phonics.
I am talking about these people who cry when their son is standing
there in an orange suit.
Where were you when he was 2? Where were you when he was 12? Where were
you when he was 18 and how come you didn't know that he had a pistol?
And where is the father? Or who is his father? People putting their
clothes on backward:
Isn't that a sign of something gone wrong? People with their hats on
backward, pants down around the crack, isn't that a sign of
something? Isn't it a sign of something when she has her dress
all the way up and got all type of needles [piercing] going through her
body? What part of Africa did this come from??
We are not Africans. Those people are not Africans; they don't know a
thing about Africa .....
I say this all of the time. It would be like white people saying they
are European-American. That is totally stupid. I was born here,
and so were my parents and grandparents and very likely my great
grandparents. I don't have any connection to Africa, no more than white
Americans have to Germany , Scotland , England , Ireland , or the
Netherlands . The same applies to 99 percent of all the black
Americans as regards to Africa . So stop, already! ! !
With names like Shaniqua, Taliqua and Mohammed and all of that crap
..........And all of them are in jail. Brown or black versus the Board
of Education is no longer the white person's problem. We have got to
take the neighborhood back.
People used to be ashamed. Today a woman has eight children with eight
different 'husbands' -- or men or whatever you call them now. We have
millionaire football players who cannot read.
We have million-dollar basketball players who can't write two
paragraphs. We, as black folks, have to do a better job. Someone

Hey Aiken County Sheriff’s “buddy”. Did
that big ole truck that Mr. Sheriff got during that bust come with that
awesome “Nightrider” light on it? I thought Mr. A. C. Sheriff was
begging for some patrol cars a while back. Guess he needed that big ole
truck even more huh?
I guess if Mr. A. C. Sheriff makes a drug bust he gets to use the
spoils as he sees fit. Hum. I see. Like a little extra pocket money. I
figured that’s the way it worked. Thanks for confirming that. And I
suppose if he can personally benefit there is much more “incentive” to
confiscate someone else’s stuff. Of course it depends on who that
someone else is. You don’t mind if he decides to bust Citizen A and not
bust Citizen B even though both have broken the law? Maybe that’s why
you have been such great pals for so long. You must be a Citizen B. Mr.
Sheriff surely worries he will miss out on some votes and campaign
contributions if he steps on your toes.
You may have known Mr. Sheriff one hundred years. That doesn’t mean
you’re not a fool. Nor does it mean he has any integrity. Bone up on
your history “buddy”. I could give a list a mile long of individuals
who had many friends for many years, thousands of supporters and even
armies of men dying for them yet they were as deceitful as the day is
long.
Something else “Buddy”. If a light is placed at the highest point on
the vehicle, say like a big ole pickup truck(!), wouldn’t it be visible
360 degrees? Seems like that used to work just fine for years. Guess
his big ole truck is just too big. Deputies and patrol officers could
ride around in a big old light with four wheels on it and somebody will
still find a way to disregard them, hit them, etc... Call it what
you want “Buddy” – I call the trick light show and the big truck a
selfish waste. But I do not expect anything more from Mr. Sheriff - do
you?
Wait I’ll answer that. You can’t possibly have any expectations if you
want him to be your Sheriff.
Editor's note: Funds confiscated are tightly regulated on what they can
be used for and none of them can be used by any Sheriff's for their
personal use. You may "think" or "believe" funds are being
misappropriated, but unless you can prove it you are walking a very
fine line.

how you spell his name) to eat dung (removed). This is THE Time to take
back our school board from entitlement people. IF your child attends
WARDLAW, get out and vote. Don't sit back and let this county be the
first 'EVER' in South Carolina to have a former DRUG Felon sitting on
the school board. This county has enough IDIOTS in control. I expect
the good people who work the voting precints to check all voters
picture ID, because that is the new law and I'll bet that many of
Cocaine Jackson's supporters don't have a picture/ID and thus should be
disqualified. And, I'll also bet that a lot of Cocaine Jackson voters
(like himself) don't live in District 1. It is hard to belive any self
respecting parent/person would even consider a known drug felon to have
ANY FORM of input or contact with children, teachers or parents. IF you

wouldn't be 0 - 11 now. Murph stated in the Aiken Standard that the
player in question was a JV player, who would only dress out for the
Varsity games and maybe only got in during the 4th quarter, when the
games were already settled. CRAP, Fox Creek did not report themselves
to the High School League. Someone from another team turned them in or
someone in the area who is familiar with the recruiting of athletes
that goes on at Fox Creek turned them in. Since Murph and the Head
Coach are such big wheels in 1A sports, one would think that they would
know the rules. One of Fox Creek's better players was suppose to sit
out the season, but the system at the school let him play anyway, only
caring about the W column and getting a winning season, and hoping that
they would not get caught. Now you have ZERO wins for 2010. How does
that feel. Maybe the High School League will look into the other sports
programs at the school, I'm sure you may find another illegal player in
maybe baseball or softball. Ignorance of the rules isn't an excuse, and
if you CHEAT, you will be caught and punished. Too bad the kids and

Also if you would read the SC laws it states that an emergency vehicle
must have visible lights that can be seen 360 degrees. So the citizens
of Aiken County DID NOT pay one penny toward the truck the Aiken County
Sheriff is driving. One more thing about the Sheriff of Aiken County.
The reason you saw him assisting his deputy is because after he gets
his paper work done and other office duties done in the mornings, he
gets out and rides the roads of his county. He is not a sit behind the
