Heard on the street today that Michael Medlock is moving his practice to Greenwood.  So where does that put him as far as the county attorney?  Can he really be effective from afar?  He wasn't that great up close!

Obama, Clinton, and Carter - great American Presidents, cough, cough.  Their absolute disdain for the American military because it does project American power and American exceptionalism, has lead to the deaths of Americans.  Carter's Irn Hostage crisis, led to the death of our military in the desert because he wanted to piecemeal a rescue effort.  Clinton, while playing golf, refused air support for our guys in Mogadishu and our soldiers were drug through the streets (Blackhawk Down).  And now, this pathetic President, refuses support, disavows all knowledge, and we lose American heroes.

Guess we should be very concerned about such elected officials - always putting themselves or their polictical careers ahead of the safety and well being for their constituents. Sounds exactly like Bibbs and Dorn.  Using their very people to pursue their own political aspirations, slandering a good Christian woman so they can maintain their positions.  Yup, those Democrats, always for the people, yet they stand by and watch Americans get killed, yet they accuse good American citizens of being racists, even from their own race.  They stoop as low as they can only to get what they want for themselves.  What a real nice bunch of people.  Suuuuuuurrrrrreeeeeee.  They're doing it for the people.  You think you really need that kind of representation?  Vote Bibbs, Bright, and Dorn out.

I am extremely proud of the STHS Rebel Regiment and their win at State. As a former band parent, I am well aware of the hours of dedication and determination that are involved to produce a show. My only concern is that Mr. Clark, band director, continues to hurt students on a yearly basis and he never seems to have any remorse, only excuses.  I will always be reminded of how he changed his rule of having two band field directors down to one simply as a way of hurting someone that he had promised the position to on numerous occasions. Mr. Clark needs to be reminded that he is a role model for ALL of the students, and that many of them may have had a continued interest in music if they had not been hurt so emotionally in his program. Or if Mr. Clark cannot keep his promises, then he needs to learn to not to make promises he obviously can or will not keep.

In recent posts, we've asked the fundamental question about the terrorist attack on our consulate in Benghazi, which resulted in the deaths of four Americans: what did the administration know, and when did they know it?

As we've noted, there was a steady stream of intelligence reporting on the attack, delivered at the FLASH/CRITIC level. Messages assigned that priority must be delivered to the President within 10 minutes of receipt. This traffic captured conversations between the Islamist factions responsible for the attack, before and during the assault on our compound. That's why administration claims that incident was some sort of "demonstration gone bad" are nothing more than a lie.

Ditto for Joe Biden's claim that Benghazi was some sort of intelligence failure. By all accounts, the spooks did their job, and it was apparent within minutes that our consulate was under attack by terrorists, not ordinary Libyans incensed over that internet video. If Director of National Intelligence James Clapper has any shred of integrity remaining, he should resign immediately in protest over how his community is being "used" to conceal leadership failures of the first magnitude.

But terrorist phone traffic wasn't the only source of information on the night of September 11, 2012. According to Fox News military analyst Colonel David Hunt (who spent most of his Army career in special forces), various U.S. command centers--in the U.S. and overseas--received a running account of the attack --while it unfolded--from a State Department official inside the consulate. Hunt detailed who was listening in during a recent interview with Boston radio host Howie Carr. Here's a partial transcript of their recent conversation, re-posted at FreeRepublic.com:
HUNT: What happened is that a woman named Lamb, Undersecretary of State for DSS (Department of State Security), 2 days ago, told Issa's committee that she listened, was talking to, and recorded an almost six hour fight that resulted in the death of four Americans. She was at the State Department's Operations Center in Foggy Bottom in DC.

When that happens, there are a bunch of people that get informed. President of the US gets found---- the embassy is being attacked---Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Director of CIA, and on and on.
What also happens is that their command centers, National Command Center (CIA), White House Situation Room--- twelve [Command Centers] that I won't bore you with. At least twelve separate Command Centers are listening to the same conversation. It went on for six hours. The question I think, besides the fact that Biden is lying about it, is Why didn't we do anything? Why didn't the United States government react?

Here we are, listening to an attack, and we didn't do a thing. We've got aircraft in Europe, aircraft in the in the Gulf, and we have the capability of doing something, and we did nothing. But for the Vice President...My point is everybody, from the moment the attack happened, in our government, and the decision-making capability, knew that it was an attack, that it was organized, that it was violent, and that it had nothing, nothing to do with a riot, an assembly of people, or a film.

This was not even close to an intelligence failure. This was prescient, actionable information. And this woman testified to it, and everyone's giving everyone a pass.

We sat by and watched the Embassy fall, and four Americans died.

Carr: Who was on the radio in the consulate in Benghazi?

HUNT: Department of State Security employee -- a DSS agent was at the operation center in Benghazi. They had a room with radios and cameras. And he makes the call; he punches the alert button. Does everything correct and calls his boss in DC.

Then he describes the attack for the whole time, until that the command center is overcome. But when she

[Lamb] gets the phone call….

Carr: He's killed. He's killed. He's at the radio when he gets killed. Is that right?

HUNT: The radio stays open. It's still being recorded until it gets destroyed.
Lamb, who is in DC listening to all of this--- Clinton gets called, the President gets called, the Joint Chiefs---everybody gets called about this. This is an embassy under attack. Period. It's an automatic phone call.
And the fact that we have this recording, instantly. We know exactly the picture. By the way, he sent pictures back because he had cameras.

So, the administration knew; they watched it, let it happen, and then for eight days lied about it. And then yesterday, last night, unfortunately, the Vice President of the US just lied. He knows it was not an intelligence failure. No one ever said that, by the way. This is a case where we have information and didn't act. It wasn't a case where we weren’t provided [info]. We had instant knowledge, accurate description, and just sat by and did nothing.

Carr: You said there were a dozen posts listening to this play by play account.

HUNT: Sure

Carr: Just give me a few examples of what kind of agencies would have been involved in this listening or monitoring.

HUNT: National Military Command Center in the Pentagon (that's the military head), the White House Situation Room, the CIA Operations Center, the Counterterrorism Center, EUCON (European Command). Africa Command, Special Operations Command, SOC-EUR [?] Special Operations Command Europe), Atlantic Command, NATO. Everybody.

Once this call is made, and a button is pushed, saying, oh by the way, we have an attack going on, everybody listens in --- this is old tech, an old procedure that’s been going on for years. Anybody who has ever been on a watch listening in the military knows what I am talking about. And it is amazing to me that this is not even being discussed. It is the elephant in the living room for me. We knew this was going on and did nothing.

Carr: Let's say, let's say there's the African Command and some sergeant is monitoring it, and you know, he's there and he listens to what's going on, and he says, captain come over and listen to this. And the captain listens to it, and I guess the captain would have to call his superior officer, right? And then at some point , wouldn't all these people be calling the Pentagon or the State Department in Foggy Bottom and say, Hey there's a problem in Benghazi. What are we gonna do?

HUNT: Within minutes that happens. It's instantaneous notification of an entire chain of command. An embassy is under attack and falling.And oh, by the way, turn to channel 27, and here's the information. And then these separate places are asking for – some cases begging for--- guidance. What do you want us to do? Because the military guys, whether it's in Bahrain or Europe, or any place else, can't on their own just go in there, but we have the means available. The point is that nobody pushed the button to say "GO." Nobody had the guts Nobody cared enough. Six hours"

Meanwhile, the National Security Agency (NSA) was adding even more detail to the picture, through its communications intercepts and reporting. So, as the attack unfolded, administration officials not only knew what was going on inside the consulate, they had a good idea of who was behind the incident, and were quite aware the sophisticated attack (using RPGs and other heavy weapons) was not the work of an angry mob.

Yet, the administration continued to lie, as evidenced by Joe Biden's whoppers last week, and the "video" story that made the rounds last month. Such conduct is inexcusable, and beyond the pale by any stretch of political imagination. Yet the same media that worried about George Bush's "lies" in Iraq have exhibited far less concern about the fabrications that followed the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi, including the administration's refusal to describe the incident as a terrorist attack for nearly two weeks.

Go figure.

Congratulations Carolina ,you played hard and the scoreboard showed it, but I want to take a moment to point out the extraordinary display of sportsmanship that Carolina received when one of the best running backs in the country went down holding his knee and the fans around the world gasped. To my speechless astonishment, the Vols team emptied their benches and made their way over to Marcus Lattimore offering their sympathy for a fallen player. The TV showed many of them patting him on the shoulder and offering words of encouragement and they stayed there until he was carried away of the cart. It was a sight to see, Carolina standing on one side and Tennessee on the other, and all of them hoping for the best for Lattimore.

As the camera man scanned the crowd, you could see a sea of orange standing and clapping for Lattimore. You could not script a better lesson to the future college football players than what was seen today. Players are more important than the score. Thank you Tennessee for coming to Williams Brice stadium, giving us a hell of fight for the “W” and a lesson on proper manners. I have a new found respect for the Tennessee Program. Carolina may have won the game, but Tennessee won a lot of admiration from the fans. I wish you the best in the finality of your season.

I take offense to the term uneducated populace of Edgefield County.  I have a BS from Clemson. We tried Fox Creek.  My child was so far behind after one semester she had to be tutored in three subjects.  She now attends the College of Charleston.  My son attends Clemson and my third attends Strom.  I have family that attends Fox Creek.  My issue with Fox Creek is they disseminate inaccurate information.  The so called parental involvement reminds me of the song "Harper Valley PTA".   Strom Thurmond is a wonderful school and my children have and are getting an excellent education.  Fox Creek did not want to be part of the Edgefield Countvy School System.  They can't have it both ways.  As I see it Fox Creek has a hard time following rules and think they are the exception.  Look at how many games have been forfeited for breaking rules.   We all need to set examples for the children of this country.

All this talk about Fox Creek seems silly to me. It is so easy to criticize something that either threatens you or you just don't understand. Both schools exist, both schools meet needs of people and both schools serve our children. Why all the yapping about Fox Creek? I don't read much from them criticizing STHS. Maybe the folks at Fox Creek are a threat because they chose a different path.  Whether you agree with it as a school, how it functions etc. really doesn't change the fact that you have to deal with it. Your complaining doesn't change what they are or what they do. Do you think it will go away if you say enough bad about it? 

It reminds me of the recent presidential debate. One side just attacked. The other side looked stronger because they didn't wallow in the mud. If you are concerned about how something will personally affect you, it is one thing (take this election for example) but if it is just to criticize than it makes the critical one look small.

This election affects all of us. It seems like it is more important to get charged up about something like that than this silly back and forth on a high school in the area. Our future as a country is at stake and if one side wins again, all our schools will be more controlled than they already are. Think about it.

They had eyes in the sky, ears on the ground--and emails in the pipeline within minutes after the attack on Benghazi began. They watched and listened in real time, as terrorists stormed the compound, firing rocket propelled grenades, mortars and AK-47 rifles. An email sent during the seven-hour long battle that claimed the lives of Ambassador Christopher Stevens, Navy SEALs Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, and agent Sean Smith is entitled, "Ansar al-Sharia Claims Responsibility for Benghazi Attack." Add it all up and the conclusion is inescapable: the Obama administration is embroiled in the biggest scandal since Watergate--and a thoroughly corrupt mainstream media has tolerated a blizzard of lies about every bit of it, hoping it won't derail the president's re-election.

They ought to be writing about his possible impeachment. What was written about this debacle in another article for another website bears repeating. We now know that, at the very least, two of the highest members in the military chain of command, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Martin Dempsey and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, were aware of what was unfolding in Benghazi as it actually happened.

Update: According to ABC News, we now now know that an email was distributed "by the State Department Operations Center to distribution lists and email accounts for the top security officials at the State Department, Pentagon, the FBI, the White House Situation Room and the office of the Director of National Intelligence with a subject line of 'U.S. Diplomatic Mission in Benghazi Under Attack,' sent at 4:05 PM about 25 minutes after the attack began," and that that email "describes an assault on the compound by 20 armed people."

Let's pause here for a second and contemplate how ABC News--as well as Fox and CBS--all whom are reporting that they "independently obtained" the damning emails, got them. The obvious answer: there are some very pissed off people in the State Department who aren't about to be the fall guys for one of the most corrupt administrations in the history of our nation

Back to the main story. We now know that either a decision was not made to rescue the four Americans who were killed--or that one was made to abandon Mr. Stevens and three other Americans to their attackers, based on risk assessments the State Department, White House and Pentagon refuse to make available to the public. Despite that stonewalling, the reality that we had military resources as little as an hour away in Italy--and the reality that the last two Americans who died, had managed to survive six hours into the attack, has also been made public.

With repeat to a potential rescue, who either passed the buck, or made the decision to abandon Stevens, et al? It certainly seems reasonable to assume that neither Mr. Panetta or Gen. Dempsey would be willing to shoulder either responsibility themselves. It also seems reasonable to assume that at some point, in a battle that reportedly lasted for seven hours, those watching the firefight unfolding had to realize what few forces we had on the ground were being overwhelmed. It is equally reasonable to assume that someone higher up the chain of command--as in the president himself--would have at least been advised of that deterioration.

Was the president advised? If so, did Obama pass the buck, and essentially vote "present" like he did over 100 times as a state Senator in Illinois? Or did he, in a complete break with the time-honored military tradition of never leaving our dead or wounded behind (or in this case, those trying to survive) make a conscious decision to abandon Messrs. Stevens, Doherty, Woods and Smith to the "tender mercies" of terrorist savages?

In other words--with an in-your-face "shout out" to our utterly corrupt lapdog media: WHAT DID THE PRESIDENT KNOW, AND WHEN DID HE KNOW IT?!!!!

Remember, after a month of promoting an Orwellian-style disinformation campaign, the president himself brazenly claimed that a generic reference to terrorism in his Rose Garden speech on September 12, was not generic at all, but an acknowledgement that four Americans had indeed been killed in a terrorist attack. If there is any justice in this world, it is an acknowledgment that should be characterized for exactly what it is: a self-indicting admission of ineptitude and/or callousness. In short, it is an admission that the most powerful military on earth was reduced to sitting on its hands--by accident or design--while four Americans were slaughtered over the course of seven hours.

If this isn't the Mother of All October Surprises, then nothing is. And if Americans are vapid enough to give this poser of a president four more years, they deserve everything they get.

Furthermore, just in case some of the shallower thinkers out there can't fathom the big picture in all of these Middle East machinations, let me spell it out for you: when you start asking yourself if the amount of blood and treasure we've expended over there is worth it, be sure to measure it against the possibility that a nuclear bomb could be detonated in an American city by the kind of Islamic crazies whose bloodlust is insatiable.

And be especially sure to remember, no American president in history has been more accommodating to those crazies than this one.

There sure is a lot of venom from the uneducated populace of Edgefield county toward Fox Creek High School.  The school has been in existence since 2004.  Fox Creek has excellent test scores and is in good financial shape.  We are doing so well in fact that we will soon be in phase two of construction, which will include a gym.  The school was started because of the distance that our children would have to travel to go to school, and because some parents were unhappy about the state of Strom Thurmond High School at that time.  The charter school idea has worked wonderfully for the Sweetwater/Merriweather area students that have decided to attend.  It has been good for Strom Thurmond High School as well.  Class sizes are reduced because of another High School.  Having two public schools in Edgefield county represents opportunies for children.  We have two football teams, two volleyball teams, two senior class presidents, two valedictorians, etc.  Two high schools allow opportunities for adults as well since a staff is needed at each school.  My children have received excellent high school educations and have had excellent experiences playing sports at Fox Creek High School.  It is time for the venom to go.  Embrace the fact that Edgefield county has two public high schools.  If you have children, educate yourself on your choices.  Visit each school, find out for yourself what each has to offer your child.  Then make an informed choice that best suits the needs of your child and your family.  For us the choice was Fox Creek.  For others the choice is Strom Thurmond.  One is not evil because the other is good.  Choose wisely, and join me in supporting opportunities for all of our children.  Go Rebels & Go Predators!!!

Foxcreek chose not to be a part of the Edgefield County School District. Merriwether Middle does not allow Midland Valley High School or North Augusta High to come to Merriwether Middle and Foxcreek should not be allowed either. Strom Thurmond High School is the only public high school in Edgefield County and Strom Thurmond is the feeder school for Merriwether Middle School. Merriwether Middle School has been doing High School nights for years. Last year Foxcreek and Strom Thurmond both gave presentations when Foxcreek was a member of the Edgefield County School District. Foxcreek then dropped out of the Edgefield District on their own. Mr Butler works for Edgefield County and it is his job to promote the schools of Edgefield County. In NO way should they have a Foxcreek night at Merriwether Middle School when they are not a member of the Edgefield School District. Why don't Foxcreek go and tell North Augusta Middle School or Paul Knox Middle School they want to have a Foxcreek night. They would laugh in their face. Foxcreek is a State Charter School and not a county school. There is NO middle school in Aiken or Edgefield county that is a feeder school to Foxcreek High.

You are treated differently because you chose to educate at an institution that was created as a thumb in the eye of Strom Thurmond. What did you expect? Everyone to be nice and play fair? MMS has great leadership and their staff is one of the best if not the best in the district and county. Fox Creek could learn from the Edgefield County School District instead of being a continued issue. FC decided that the education in Edgefield County wasn’t good enough for their children and decided to create its own little mess in what you all call a "school". FC is not a school in the Edgefield County School District and there is nothing more that can be said about that. I hope you do understand. 

When FC starts being a competitive school and scores are acceptable, maybe, just maybe there is a seat at the table. You should not be concerned with MMS, MES, or any other school in Edgefield County. FC is in debt and scores are dismal. Worry about yourself. You want a school in Edgefield County to play nice? Go to Wardlaw, they will be more welcoming.

Something's fishy going on at the county voting office.
  
My daughter has recently taken a job with DoD outside the state.  She still maintains her South Carolina and Edgefield County residency and HAS NOT applied for residency in the other state (just in case the job doesn't work out).  When requesting an absentee ballot for the upcoming election, she was told by a representative in the registrars office that she would be given an absentee ballot for the upcoming election, however she would not be allowed to vote on any of the local offices up for election.  Excuse me!, I checked the SC voting guidelines, and there is no mention of a "local" provision or exclusion for out of state absentee voting.  Furthermore, as a 20 yr military vet who voted absentee his entire career, I have never come across a restriction on local voting.  Either you're registered to vote or you're not....and to register you have to have a "permanent" address (permanent where you pay taxes and what you call your residency to establish state residency requirements).  Most young people continue to use their parents address until they purchase their first home or start their own family.  This sounds like someone's trying to place their "pinky" on the voting scales and dissuade someone from voting, especially since she's a registered Republican.

Is there that much of a turn-over in Dorn's, Bibbs', and Bright's districts that they have to use a voting machine to teach the masses how to use it?  After all, haven't those people voted before?  I guess Bibbs, Dorn, and Bright have to show and tell their constituents where they (Dorn, Bibbs, Bright) will be on the ballot since most of them can't read.  The instructions from the three stooges is - Vote for number 3, or whatever place they are on the ballot.  Isn't that ironic - instead of representing their people and getting the necessary resources to teach them to read, these thugs (Dorn, Bibbs, Bright) use these poor people to keep their own job by keeping them stupid.  That is absolutely shameful.  When are those in the black community going to wake up?

It might be better to look at the machine and it's content.  Something doesn't smell right.  And you know, those thugs, Bibbs, Dorn, and Bright will stoop to any level to maintain their positions.  They surely can't win on merit, the race card has been played so many times that it has lost its effectiveness, so now, it's time to ramp up the cheating.  Wonder if they have learned that from their brothers in the NAACP.  After all, the Reverend Jesse Jackson is from Chicago and he would ensure the techniques would get distributed amongst his thug cronies in the NAACP, and then out to the masses like Bibbs, Dorn, and Bright.  They need their positions to continue the NAACP money laundering scheme from the churches they write grants through.

Bibbs, Dorn, and Bright - teach your people to read, give them true representation, and you wouldn't have to cheat!  Just another tell tale fact that you're a bunch of losers, and you have used your own people for your own gain.

As a strong, evangelical Christian, I applaud Billy Graham, and his son Franklin, for standing with Romney. I would doubt that they have changed their minds about Mormonism being a cult, it is, but they know where the current President stands on Christianity and religious freedom in this country. So Bill Clinton, a disbarred lawyer, a President who was impeached for lying under oath, asks the American people to believe him when he says the best thing for this country is 4 more years of Obama.

As for Latoya Hammond being an "Edcuator", well she is.  She helps Bro Bibbs, Dorn, Bright, Sister Sallie, and her relative - Reverand NAACP educate the masses that they (Bibbs, Dorn, Cooks, Bright, Reverand NAACP, etc.) are incompetent failures because of racism.  They have to educate their constituents, teaching them that always sticking it to the white man will get them a good paying job, will give their children opportunity, will make them successful, will help them break the chains the Democrat, oops, Republican party has shackled them in.  They educate their children that you should waste your time pimpin around in your Mercedes, drinkin gin and vokka, supporting gay marriage, supporting abortions, womanizing, or trafficking cocaine, an playin' da race card to get somewhere.  Yup, they are all role models the aspiring youth in the black community should really embrace.  And look at their stellar accomplishments.  Dorn is a bumbling idiot that no one listens to, but he gots an impotant position on da County Council; Bibb's be stylin around in his Mercedes, always so smoove wiff da young ladies, but he is impotant, he a school board member;  Cooks is another bumbling idiot that has a Phd, and where do you think she got that, yup, affirmative action; Bright-well that's self-explanatory, and now Hammond?  Another success story.

But remember, Sallie said there were two ways she would give up her school board seat to someone else - if she was given a position in the district, of which the district did not allow her to extort, or, if she found someone, Hammond, who could be indoctrinated, meaning, someone who would use their race and the false charges of racism to perpetuate the many successes Bibbs, Dorn, Bright, and Cooks have been able to accomplish. NOT!

The entire community, white and black, needs to vote for true representation - SMITH, MIMMS, GARVIN, not incompetence - Bibbs, Dorn, Bright.  Sadly, you'll get stuck with Hammond because she is running unopposed - but hey, that's the only way incompetence wins.  The Board will just have to endure another idiot for 4 years.

What does Barack Obama, Dorn, Bright, Bibbs and Sallie Cooks have in common?  They have all asked for their constituent's votes to get them elected to a job, and all have failed to deliver.  And because they have failed due to their own incompetence, they all have played the race card, claimed racism, or blamed someone else.

You see, the irony is, they all are from the black community, well maybe not Obama, he's 50/50, and it is easy for them all to sell to their constituents that it is racism, and not their incompetence, that has made them abject failures!  There is an unintended consequence to affirmative action.  Just because your black doesn't mean you are qualified to do the job, hence the downfall of affirmative action, and then when you are elected or hired on that premise, you are destined to fail, especially when you weren't qualified in the first place.  The only thing any/all of them have been successful at, not what they were elected to do, but BS'ing the people into making them believe they were the right one for the job.  Sooner or later though, people want results and will quickly see through the BS.

So, on election day, November 6, 2012, send a real strong message to all politicians and hacks (Bibbs, Dorn, Bright, oh, and Obama) - we are tired of the same ole, same ole.  Vote the incompetence out, and if there is a write-in candidate, vote for them!

Let's see, very easy solution - VOTE Barack, Dorn, Bibbs, and Bright out, and vote SMITH, MIMMS, and GARVIN in!  Send Edgefield AND Washington a message!  We are sick and tired of feckless government, and we are darn sure tired of the RACE CARD!

According to the Edgefield Advertiser, a voting machine will be availabe at the "Community Center next to Macedonia Baptist Church".  The paper doesn't list a date when the machine is available.  I am under the impression South Carolina does not have early voting.  Why is a machine available?  Is the Community Center a normal voting precinct?  Is there someone I can contact to ask about this?

Just wanted to tell all my Gamecock friends what a GREAT football team they have and that if they had played LSU at home or a neutral site, USC would have won.  I grew up going to games in Baton Rouge and the noise level during a night game in Tiger Stadium is unlike anything, anywhere.  This Saturday won't be much easier as I consider The Swamp to be second only to Tiger Stadium in terms of difficulty to play in.  IF, USC can win out, they will still have a shot at playing for the National Championship.  Get past UF and Clemson and I think you'll see Bama in the SECCG in Atlanta.  Win there, and you'll play for all the marbles.  Carolina fans are great folks who have always treated my family, like family.  Our trips to Columbia have always been tons of  fun and we look forward to making the trip again next season when my Tigers come to town.

I have a few questions for the Obama Apologists.
 
We are all very sad that our Ambassador to Libya was killed. But doesn’t that beg that certain questions MUST be addressed . That consulate is and was SOVEREIGN United States territory in accordance with international treaties and international LAW. That means our sovereign soil was INVADED.
 
So, how many of the invaders were killed as they were storming into our consulate? Any?
 
The two Ex-Navy Seals and ex-Air Force Spec-Ops guys that died with our Ambassador and we are now told, were NOT part of the Ambassador’s security team inside that consulate. What about the U.S. Marines assigned to protect the consulate and the Ambassador, where were they?
 
Two of the world's most elite trained bad asses were there! Those Seals were killed and they didn't take anyone with them? Two ex-Seals didn't kill anyone? Wouldn’t they AND every U.S. Military soldier have fought like tigers, to the death; - unless they had been ordered not to?
 
And yet, NONE of the invaders died?
 
What is WRONG with this picture, folks? Were those Seals and Marines not armed? If so, who gave that disarm order? Who told them NOT to have defensive weapons at the ready? Who ordered them NOT to fire on the invaders?
 
The United States has always had a second and sometimes a third-line of defense inside any embassy or consulate. The bodies of those invaders should have been stacked up like cord wood unless our Seals and Marines were un-armed! The Marines and Seals would have had preplanned, defendable, defensive positions stocked with ammo and weapons unless they were ordered not to do so.
 
Who gave that order????
 
Was our current government the reason why our people were murdered? Were there no weapons available to our people?
 
The State Department and in particular Hillary Clinton and our President should answer these questions openly and publicly LIVE and in front of the American People AND the world PRESS!
 
I am just an old veteran, who probably does not understand how this administration decides to properly kiss the rear OF OUR ENEMIES, but SOME of you have actually served in our military too and I have yet to hear ANY of you ask why Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama allowed our Embassy personnel to be killed!

Either you are an idiot or you can't read. No one said that we should not enforce laws or make our voting process secure. The point was that the legislation passed does not secure our voting process because of the loop holes in the poorly written legislation. The taxpayer money spent on defending legislation totaled about $2.5 million dollars and still you do not have to show an ID to vote, if you have a "reasonable" impediment to obtaining a state-issued ID. The same with the e-Verify legislation passed which exempts farm labor, domestic help, and various other jobs usually taken by illegal immigrants.

As these deadbeats will be weeded out through attrition, the voter rolls will be cleaned up. What part of that you do not understand escapes me. But, then again, I think on a logical level, not a political level.

If I recall correctly, we lost 3 teachers in the past 3-4 years due to relocating. The other 10 left for very obvious reasons. There was no vision or leadership at the school or district office. Staying busy doesn’t mean being productive.  And an asset?  You really need to set that bar higher. Our common core and curriculum is lacking severely. Is fine good enough for our children? It seems that you have never seen real leaders even thought JET has had many effective leaders. 
 
Overnight? The school was fine before his takeover.  We were a Palmetto’s Finest school. Quit making excuses and demand real leadership. And why are we doing TAP if we voted it down? Another area we were lied to.   Those who have posted previously aren't downing JET.  They are concerned for our kids and the low morale of our staff.

 A three-judge federal panel ruled last week that South Carolina’s voter ID law does not violate the federal Voting Rights Act.

   The law, which purports to require voters to present a state-approved ID with their picture at the polls before casting a ballot, will not take effect until 2013.

   But from Buzz’s reading of the judges’ ruling, the law really seems to have changed ... er, ah ... nothing.

   The new law’s “expansive ‘reasonable impediment’ provision” – elaborated on by state officials during the recent federal trial – makes it unlikely that any voter without a photo ID would be turned away from casting a ballot at the   polls. Those ID-less voters still can vote “so long as they state the reason for not having obtained” a photo ID, the judges said.

   Legitimate reasons for not having an ID could include not having transportation to get one, not having time to get one, not having money for gas to drive to a voter office, and on and on. The list seems endless. However, the judges literally, in their order, did rule out ID-less voters, saying, “I don’t want to,” “I hate this   law” and, “The moon is made of green cheese, so I didn’t get a photo ID.”

   (No word on whether saying, “The Mayans said civilization was coming to end, and I had better things to do” would cut it as a legitimate excuse.)  

   Oddly enough, Republican lawmakers – from Gov. Nikki Haley to state Attorney General Alan Wilson to legislators – are hailing the ruling as a victory. Really? Buzz is declaring the whole thing a waste of time and state money, and a victory for the status quo."

Who showed leadership in the VP debate? My thinking is that it was Paul Ryan. He was calm, forthright, focused, respectful and smart. Joe Biden was rude, disrespectful, arrogant and lied. It shows the attitude of this administration. They think they are smarter and better than the American people. How can a man in Biden's position act this way with a sitting Congressman? Is this how this administration works with Congress?  Does Biden show leadership or arrogance in his approach?  Was his laughing during debate on serious issues really look like leadership? These are major issues in our country and he sits there and smirks, interrupts and laughs? He was not just disrespectful to Paul Ryan, he was disrespectful to the American people and this country as a whole. 

Unfortunately Biden continued the lie about what happened in Benghazi and the money taken from Medicare to pay for Obamacare. Both of those will come back to bite him and his running mate. He gave a lot of numbers about things but Ryan never had a fair chance of answering back. The moderator really primed Biden and protected him in my opinion. Her  questions seemed hard on Biden but in reality she just gave Biden a platform to do what Obama didn't do in the last debate. Too bad Biden never learned good manors. Respect goes a long way when you are in a leadership role.

My questions remain. Are you better off today than you were four years ago? Do you feel safer today than you did four years ago? Will four more years of a failed economy and weakness in the world be good for America?  Will four more years of speeches help us move ahead in this country? Hmmmmm

We pray the white unite with the black population in Bibbs' district and support a change and vote for Monica Mimms.  The education of your children is not relegated to race, but it is relegated to the elected representative to deliver to your children the education and opportunity they deserve.  For too long now Bibbs has been pathetic and irresponsible toward his constituents.  He's been too busy trying to be Mr. Important, always playing the race card in an attempt to extort something out of the district for him and only him.  Bibbs is in it for him and his thug buddies in the NAACP.  Meanwhile, your children aren't qualified for any job once they graduate.  We can turn it around.  We can better the lives of our children by bettering their education and chances for competition, but we have to get rid of the deadwood like Bibbs and Dorn.  Both are shameless, selfish thugs, that have egos to feed because they need to feel important.  They have lacked competence, intelligence, and any type of original thought, hence their constant pursuit of some objective through the constant use of the race card.  Their incompetence is shown through the progress of their districts, which has been nothing.  They are both losers.

If you want the jobs and opportunities to go elsewhere in the district like they have been, then go ahead, vote for Bibbs and Dorn.

WRONG!!!!!   It is apparent you are (1) A student writing this or (2) A Crenshaw/Schilit supporter because you don't like rules.

Mrs. Jett is doing a great job at ST.  Actually that is the problem for these students.  They are not use to rules.  Mr Schilit had let things get so out of hand with discipline, tardies, absentees, failing grades, teacher morale, etc. Mrs. Jett had a huge task to take on and has achieved quit a bit in her short time.  ST is a great school and thankfully Mrs. Jett has brought it back to the way things use to be! She is removing the problems and unfortunately things like that can't be hid from the community. The old saying goes: things have to get worse before they get better.

And honesty the problem lies at HOME! More parents need to be parents and not the kid's friends. Or better yet, just be present in their lives.  Too many kids are raising themselves! Sad.  So quit blaming Mrs. Jett because parents aren't doing their jobs at home!

I found it interesting that your article with title above left out two important factors of the decision of the judges:
 
1) The law will go into effect in 2013.
2) Even if someone does not have an ID, they can still vote with a provisional ballot, if they have a "reasonable" impediment to obtaining a state issued ID
 
However, who decides if the impediment is reasonable. Is it Nikki? Is it the hourly associate at the election precinct? Is it Marcie Andino? Seems like to me it creates lots of confusion and ambiguity as to who can and who cannot vote.

Editor's note: The article did state that the law would not take effect until next year. The simple fact is that you have to show a photo ID in order to register to vote, so why shouldn't you have to show it when you vote?

Re:  Yes, we have lost three assistant principals. Two of those were men who are just fantastic people and a great loss for JET. The other one we were glad to see go! There has been many teachers to leave for various reasons. This school year began as one extremely stressful. Mr. Moore, and Ms. Courtney are fantastic people too.

Many teachers have left JET because of the poor leadership that's still here.  Ms. Courtney is good as well as the other two that were mentioned who left, but placing Mr. Moore in the same statement is baloney.  Being fantastic actually requires you to do something.  “Given time I'm sure Mr. Hampton will work more towards making JET much better for everyone”.  HE HAS HAD ALMOST FOUR YEARS.  Training on the job has gotten us no where!  The schedule is not in the benefit of the students but Mr. Moore won’t admit it and Mr. Hampton doesn't know any better.

I heard that the owner of the group that runs Olive Garden and Red Lobster is going to cut employees' hours because of the concern over the cost of Obamacare to employers. Hmmm  This is the same group that is a big supporter of Obama. So, did the owner wait to read the bill until it passed? That is what we were told we needed to do. What about these employees healthcare and what will it cost them now? Plus they have less hours to work. Wow-a really tough situation financially for them. So much for the promise of keeping your health plan, so much for "free health care". I guess the rubber is meeting the road. I wonder how these employees should vote. Doesn't seem like Obama is giving them a good option.

One good thing I learned from this. I will no longer eat in either of these restaurants. I am not going to spend my hard earned money in an establishment that gives from their profits (free enterprise by the way) to such liberal causes. If we continue to "spread the wealth" I will have no choice in where my hard earned money goes. When I do have a choice, I will choose more carefully in my everyday spending. I think we should all research the places we shop, eat etc. and see what political affiliations they support.

I have a child who attends Thurmond and pretty much comes home daily telling me of kids trying to either sell him drugs, or smoking pot in the bathrooms.  Thank goodness my child is smart and usually makes good choices, but what is going on around there? For there to be a resource officer and cameras everywhere, why aren't these kids getting caught.  I also am hearing about kids of color bullying white kids at lunch with certain "tables" belonging to E-Town and the like.  I though bullying was illegal. Sounds like drugs, bullying, and much more is going on everyday for our kids to enjoy, instead of learning.

The Heritage Festival is nothing more than a pig roast with a few vendors.  It's nothing like it used to be when there were things for the kids and a lot of fun for the kids with rides and activities. Now it's all about BBQ and drunks! And the same person wins year after year! Why would local teams want to pay to get their money taken? The whole thing has become a joke. So the Obama website (the giving page) has 43% possibly coming from foreigners. They may be from credit cards (small donors) that cannot be traced. There is no security code asked for from these cards. It is illegal to accept or solicit funds from foreign donors. So, is it possible that foreign people are wanting to influence our elections? Those thugs who were involved in the huge mess at STHS [Friday] certainly knew how to get away with what they were doing.  There were many more involved than the few who were arrested.  I hope they are all caught and dealt with as the adults they obviously think they are.  They put more people than themselves in danger with that type of behavior.  It cannot be tolerated.
 
It is not surprising that an incident like this has occurred.  My child has come home on more than one occasion complaining about the lack of supervision in the halls, in the cafeteria, and outside where students walk to classes or hang out at lunch.  My child says that some teachers don't care what students say and do in the classrooms and let the students talk to them in any kind of way.  I have heard these same complaints from other children.
 
STHS administrators, you need to do whatever is necessary to get this situation in hand.  If you have to line the halls with police officers Monday morning, then do it.  Stop using the excuse, "Well, they are high school students," which I have heard from more than one administrator.  It just won't fly anymore.  Most of your student population is under the age of eighteen, so get busy SUPERVISING these CHILDREN!  Make sure teachers are in the halls and are checking bathrooms between classes and in the cafeteria and outside areas at appropriate times.  If the teachers don't show up for their duties, then deal with them.  Enough is enough.  As a faculty and staff, you do have an obligation to make that school as safe as reasonably possible for our children.  Now get to it!

I have been a resident of Edgefield for 33 years and I agree with some others the Heritage Festival has gone down the drain. Its a glorified flea market now, nothing but vendors. At least when it was at the soccer field there were a couple rides and games for kids. Thats the agreed upon opinion in my neighborhood and job. I donated because the funds help my child's school but it would be nice to have a festival to look forward to again. Don't get mad at our views, try listening and working on making it better.

Yes, we have lost three assistant principals. Two of those were men who are just fantastic people and a great loss for JET. The other one we were glad to see go! There has been many teachers to leave for various reasons. This school year began as one extremely stressful. Mr. Moore, and Ms. Courtney are fantastic people too. So we are still winning. Given Mr. Hampton has a "my way is best therefore we will do it my way" attitude that he needs to loose in order to ever become that greatly respected principal that he surely would like to be. He has done some good things for JET and those seemly have been over looked. There are things that need fixing, starting with the schedule he has put on us which gives for a stressful day, and the academy which has become something other than for higher ability students, and then the excessive loss of planning time due to meetings. Given time I'm sure Mr. Hampton will work more towards making JET much better for everyone. Stop downing JET and join with us to help our leaders grow to make our school the great place it once was to go to work each day, and to achieve the great success with our students that we know we can! Mr. Anderson that applies to you and your board members too. If you never come to talk with the teachers then how do you expect to know our needs?

The mantra for the 2008 campaign was Obama's "yes we can" and now Joe Biden's mantra is "yes we will"...will raise taxes on the rich. Yes, doesn't that sound like a solution? Trouble is, the "rich" are small business owners and other business owners that create jobs. When you create jobs you have more tax base and so on and so on and so on. Right now all they are going to do is kill more job creation. If it hasn't worked in four years, what makes anyone think it will work the next four years? Meanwhile, there are all those (the middle class)  hurting that are either unemployed or under employed. 

They say it is fairness. Is it fair to those who are or will be without a job? How is that helping the middle class? How many of the rich are out of work? Those out of work are the middle class, unable to get a job because those that hire are either afraid of higher taxes or the results they will have to deal with from Obamacare. Yes, they will, they will continue to kill the economy of this country.

Maybe if they can raise taxes on the wealthy they can spend more on green energy, fancy trips, celebrity parties etc. etc. I am sure the middle class will benefit from that!

I am wandering if there is a law against cyber bullying? I read the article about the STH students that posted the video to facebook this morning. These boys should be glad it was them arrested and not the victim's parents. I just don't know exactly how I would have handled that situation being a parent myself. I also read about an 8 year old boy from Augusta coming home with bruises and swollen eyes because of some bullies. I try to teach my child to be everyone's friend. I tell her if something she is going to say or do would hurt her feelings then don't hurt someone else's. At the same time I don't want her to take this crap from someone else either. I think it is hard enough to get through the bulling, but then to have it posted online for everyone to see. How does a victim have a chance to cope and move on?

Under Obama's Healthcare reform, the dr's would be mandated to simply make your Pap-paw comfortable while he dies of his injuries. He's lived his life, contributed to society but isn't contributing now. Your brother, because he's Down Syndrome, will never be a truly contributing member of society. In fact, they view him as merely a drain on society so they'll make him comfortable and let him die, as well. YOU...on the other hand, will receive the best of care! You're young, already have a job and are paying your taxes! You have many years more to pay taxes and contribute to society so you'll be well taken care of. And isn't it cheaper on everyone concerned to just pay for two funerals rather than all those pesky dr's bills?"

My son looked at me, at first horrified and then very angry. But then he asked a very good question, "And what if we were all members of Obama's family or some Congressman?" "Well", I answered, "that would be totally different and you would ALL receive the best of healthcare because y'all would be under a totally different plan!" My son pondered a moment and then replied, "Ya know? Being a doctor is gonna get to be a real dangerous profession if this goes through. Because if what you said were to really happen, and I knew the drs hadn't done everything they could to save my Pap-paw and my brother...there would be more than two funerals to go to."

Once again there is nothing out there for the festival in Edgefield.
Where are the retailors and city councel that need to promote our town. Oh I remember now. They are living in the early 1900s when we rolled up the streets on Wednesdays and after 12 o'clock on Saturdays. Yet I hear the fireworks will be at 10:00PM. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. My children are asleep at that time and I am not far behind. Give me someone to vote for that will put Edgefield in 2012. I will not only vote for them I will volunteer to work for them.

While I do agree that the 800 system has its advantages that is not what the county has implemented. All that was done is narrowbanding of the current radios and replacement of the radios that could not be narrow banded. The 800 system would be prohibit ably expensive for our county. The radios cost thousands of dollars each and the monthly service fee per radio is about $25.00. in just our small department we would have monthly fees of $875.00, that's $10,500 per year just for the subscription. That may seem like a reasonable fee for having a superior product that is until you know that our budget is only $45,000 per year. It would take almost 25% of our entire budget just for the monthly service. To upgrade our 35 or so radios would cost somewhere around $110,000.00 just for the radios. That is more than two years of our entire budget. Finally the 800 radios cannot talk radio to radio they have to go through a repeater site. If the site were to go down there would be no communication at all. At least with our old vhf radios we can talk directly to each other if the repeater goes down. In closing it is not a bad idea to have the 800 radios but it is so expensive that it is just not feasible for our county in the foreseeable future.

The outrage over the voting issue in FL is really odd to me. If this were really a major issue, doesn't one think that the mainstream media would focus totally on that? Actually it was a group hired by Republicans to help register people that caused the problem. It was discovered and corrected-not a big story there. 

If there is outrage over anything, it should be over the way this administration lied and continues to lie to the American people. Besides all the skewed numbers they throw out, there is the big problem of them lying to us and the world about the attacks in Libya and Benghazi. Our ambassador and three other heroes were killed and our embassies attacked and we were lied to about the cause. It was intentional and planned and we were told it was the fault of a film  maker (an American)  who is now in prison????? What in the world? Our UN ambassador flat out lied as did our Secretary of State and our President. Have we become so hardened to the missteps and lying of this administration that people miss what really happened here?

If one thinks the FL thing is the biggest story of the election, then they don't understand the severity of what the real issues are in this country. We are being undermined and controlled by a destructive leadership in this country. People need to wake up before it is too late.

It is beyond my comprehension how any person who considers their self to be a Christian can vote for Obama. The Democratic DNC platform has items of significant conflict with Biblical principles.

I'm glad the county is finally moving to 800 MHz  trunked radios. Getting on the Palmetto 800 system will greatly increase the functionality of the communications to police, fire, and emergency responders. This will also keep the common criminal from listening in on the response calls given by the 911 operators concerning break-ins and other illegal things the current listener can deduce. Of course there are scanner radios on the market that will receive the analog and digital signals that the Palmetto 800 system currently uses, but they are prohibitively expensive and if someone is smart enough to program it, they wouldn't be house breaking. However there are encrypted channels that even these consumer radio scanners cannot decode. This is something that needs to be implemented and I for one welcome it.

Also, I should mention that moving to the Pal 800 system will not only enhance the current county communications immensely, but it will allow the users to directly communicate with other agencies such as the South Carolina Highway Patrol, Aiken County Sheriffs Department, SLED, COBRA, SC National and Air National Guard, as well as Federal agencies and just about any other agency that uses the Palmetto 800 communication system. A lot of people are complaining about our local bank [removed] because of the casual dress code.  They are saying that is not professional.  What does the casual dress code have to do with processing your deposit?  I think that the problem just may be the hiring practices. I am shocked as the next person with the equality that has been shown in the hiring of employees.  I never thought I would see this in Edgefield where normally we are the minority instead of the majority.  I think that it is great!  Just don't understand why other people would use this as an excuse to change banks.  In this instance, I don't think this well known bank, which is all over the country, would really care.  I know that I wouldn't. So just change your bank and shut up about it.

Family, friends, teachers, classmates and even strangers are mourning the loss of a young man.  At the moment it matters little  what caused this tragedy.  It matters that they are in shock and hurting.  As a community we must gather round, give support and celebrate a cherished life lost too soon.    Pray for this family and give support as best you can.   Pray for understanding and comfort.  Healing will come later.  Today they mourn and a community mourns with them.

Just an FYI-factcheck.org is a liberal website and gives biased information and "fact" checking.  If you want to look into it more, look up the Annenberg Public Policy Center. They are the group that sponsors factcheck.org.  If you are using this site to check your facts, like say on Obama phones, you may want to look at some other sources too...that is if you really want the truth. 

Actually, conservatives should look at this site if you want a good laugh. What is sad is that people would actually go to it for fact checking. The only "facts" they get are the ones the liberals want them to believe.

Hi i just would like to ask why every post i see on Obama is negative in much way very bias? I feel as a writer for the edgefield daily you should be mature in the aspect of the economy and politics because of the sensitive manner around these issues. Honestly it seems very novice and quite frankly i find the post with lack of intelligence and careless. I am very disapointed with edgefield daily that you all would punlish such bias material, i know my email will be take for granite but now that I've spoken my peace i feel much better. I was raised in edgefield and i feel that we have more dignity and honor to stoop so low.

When we lived near Sportsman Corner we took our pets to a local groomer near the Interstate. Once they put up Obama decals at the front counter during the last presidential election we never went back. Recently noticed one of our few local eating establishments has seen fit to insert themselves into politics by putting a sign out front endorsing the current sheriff in the upcoming election. I don’t really care who they have endorsed but I have always avoided doing business with folks who become arrogant enough to think we care more about their political views than the service or product we are paying for. Just think it’s bad manners I guess. We have eaten there many, many times over the years, but until they take the politics off the table I’m going to get my south of the border food south of Edgefield in North Augusta.

Whoever has no respect for Mark Richt:
Obviously you do not pay attention to college football. Mark Richt is the classiest coach in any level of football. He is an outspoken Christian man with high moral standards for not only himself but his players. Coach Richt does not tolerate criminal behavior at the University of Georgia. Players are suspended (Rambo, Ogletree, Commings, Vasser for example) or even removed from the team (Mettenberger, Crowell, Ealey, for example) for far less than other teams such as South Carolina or Alabama.  Richt goes on mission trips every year. He and his wife adopted two kids from the Ukraine. His adopted daughter had health issues. Whoever posted that slam on Mark Richt's character needs to get their facts straight before lowering him to the level of Steve Spurrier.

First off,  please feel free to correct me at anytime because I am most definitely not a football pro.
As I watched a game tonight, I got very agitated. I know it's Youth football & that I don't know all the rules But I don't believe the refs should be allowed to be from the same location as one of the teams.  I think it's too easy to show favoritism. I mean our money pays these guys to referee a football game so that it stays fair. And yes, I do know that this is just a youth football game, that it's supposed to be fun. There were several calls tonight that I was ready to yell at the ref myself.  Plus, there were several calls that should have made that weren't.   For example, if the player makes a good play, the coach can't pick him/her up on his shoulders & practically dance off the field.  Is that wrong or what!?   I just found it odd that when the opposing team started winning then they had a whole lot of flags thrown against them.
What it all boils down to is. .... Refs shouldn't be from the same area because it's too easy to show favoritism.

Mark Richt is a good man and a good coach, which are two qualities you don't normally find in one person. The same cannot be said, however, for the rest of his coaching staff, players and the majority of the fan base. Arrogance comes with the territory and the closer you get to Athens, the worse it gets.
 
I have often asked myself why such a good man would allow himself to be associated with the rest of them.

Did you know that one of the latest training objectives of the NAACP is to train their followers in how to turn everything into a race issue?

Can't buy a half decent car because you have a job with claims of racism by Bro Bibbs and dumb masses like Dorn, can you?  But they have their Mercedes.

It is time for change in your own communities, NOW!  Ask yourself, for the last 20 years with big bad DORN always sticking his finger in the eye of the white man and always making everything a race issue, what has that done for you and your community?  Doesn't take long to answer the question does it? But he kept his job, didn't he?

FYI from Fox News .com. electoral vote map. Karl Rove has it 247 likely or leaning Obama, 191 likely or leaning Romney. Fair and balanced.

The state of South Carolina issues a permit for golf carts to be used within TWO miles of a person's home.  It mandates that the cart can only use SECONDARY roads.  Not main highways such as hwy 121 or hwy 23 and CERTAINLY not on sidewalks.
 
Why then are some seen OFTEN on highway 121 and highway 23 AND sidewalks?  First that is a danger to the operator/passenger and to folks walking on a sidewalk.  A little ACTIVE police work by the JPD would stop this practice.  One cart, in particular, is OFTEN seen in the above mentioned areas. ( Color RED/electric powered.)  Perhaps the JPD can interrupt their "conferences" at the CONOCO station or the Dollar store to correct the owner's of these carts that won't play be the rules before someone gets hurt or killed.  Oh wait, did I say "ACTIVE police work"?  Well there you have it.  To much to ask.

Without a dought the two most arrogant people in both collage and professional football have to be Mark Wreck I spell with no respect for him, and Tom Brady.  No class as shown by the players and most fans.  Coach Wreck had to hurry today without at least to have anything to say about Tennessee with any respect in the post game interview.  What a tick t--d.  And Brady what can I say?  I guess coach Wreck had to get his team back to their parole officer.  And can somebody please translate his players interview after the game.

My question is to the black community.  If Brother Bibbs, Sister Sallie, Reverend NAACP, Norman Dorn, Cocaine Jackson all have your interest at heart, and they are down for the struggle, fighting for you, AND you all are God fearing, God loving Christians, then how can you re-elect people like Bibbs, Dorn, Cooks, and even think about electing Cocaine Jackson, when they support an ideology that has destroyed the black family?  They say they are fighting for you, yet they peruse an agenda that is absolutely contrary to what you believe.  They support Obama, and he supports gay marriage and infanticide.  They support Clinton and he's a womanizer.  They support Jesse Jackson, and he's a womanizer, and racist.  They support Al Sharpton, and he's a racist.  So you know what they say, birds of feather, flock together.  Have you seen Bro Bibbs at the ABC store picking up his gin or vokka.  Always so smoove with the young ladies.  Bet he wouldn't be smoove if his wife was with him.

And what has Bibbs and Dorn really done for you?  Kept you in perpetual poverty while they be gettin theirs. Pimpin around in dey Mercedes.  Meanwhile you and your families struggle on a daily basis, just looking for an opportunity to give your children something.  Those two don't care about you.

Time for you to start voting for someone who has something in common with you.  Mimms is a female, a mother, and from the black community-who else would know better than what the children of the community needed than her?  Bibbs surely doesn't - he's always lookin over the young ladies, and he's always lookin out for himself and what "he" can get.  He doesn't care about denying your children an education or an opportunity-if the truth were known, if, just if, he did something for the children and they were able to get out of Dorn's world, you can bet Bro Bibbs would be holding his hand out for a pay back.  Time to elect yourself true representation instead of these race baiters like Bibbs and Dorn.  Guaranteed you get rid of those two, things will change for the better in your communities and schools.

All to often in middle eastern countries, Iran comes to mind, we see a person that has converted from Islam to Christianity being put to death for doing so or a call for their death.
 
Our "dear leader" Obama has clearly stated that he was raised in the faith of Islam and has stated that he is now a Christian so where is the "call for death" in the Islamic world for him?  I strongly believe that he has not converted and they know it, so no call.  We do not see him in any church, except J. Wright's alleged church.  Makes one wonder doesn't it?
 
Can anyone out there help me understand the Islamic world's different view on this insult to Islam?

What is Presscott thinking?  With him in the council race Dorn only has to get 33% of the votes to win.  When it was Smith and Dorn he had to get at least 50% of the votes.  If Smith loses he should blame Presscott for giving Dorn the seat.  Why don't people just use their head and use simple math to figure out that it is easier two defeat one person than two.

The Obamacare Medical Device Tax – a $20 billion tax increase:  Medical device manufacturers employ 409,000 people in 12,000 plants across the country. Obamacare imposes a new 2.3 percent excise tax on gross sales – even if the company does not earn a profit in a given year.  In addition to killing small business jobs and impacting research and development budgets, this will increase the cost of your health care – making everything from pacemakers to prosthetics more expensive.

The Obamacare “Special Needs Kids Tax” – a $13 billion tax increase:  The 30-35 million Americans who use a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) at work to pay for their family’s basic medical needs will face a new government cap of $2,500 (currently the accounts are unlimited under federal law, though employers are allowed to set a cap).

There is one group of FSA owners for whom this new cap will be particularly cruel and onerous: parents of special needs children.  There are several million families with special needs children in the United States, and many of them use FSAs to pay for special needs education. Tuition rates at one leading school that teaches special needs children in Washington, D.C. (National Child Research Center) can easily exceed $14,000 per year. Under tax rules, FSA dollars can be used to pay for this type of special needs education. This Obamacare tax provision will limit the options available to these families.

The Obamacare Surtax on Investment Income – a $123 billion tax increase: This is a new, 3.8 percentage point surtax on investment income earned in households making at least $250,000 ($200,000 single).  This would result in the following top tax rates on investment income:

TALE OF TWO DOCTORS 

Two patients limp into two different medical clinics with the same complaint. Both have trouble walking and appear to require hip surgery.

The FIRST patient is examined within the hour, is x-rayed the same day, and has a time booked for surgery the following week.
 
The SECOND sees his family doctor after waiting 3 weeks for an appointment, then waits 8 weeks to see a specialist, then gets an x-ray, which isn't reviewed for another week and finally has his
surgery scheduled for 6 months from then, pending the review board's decision on his age and remaining value to society.
 
Why the different treatment for the two patients?
 
The FIRST is a Golden Retriever taken to a vet. The SECOND is a Senior Citizen on Obama care.
 
In November if he and his czars get another term, we'll all have to find a good vet.
