Vandals total Cadillac

web posted September 26, 2006

WESTSIDE – Just before 1 am Sunday morning a deputy was dispatched to check on an abandoned vehicle on Red Oak Grove Road near Garrett Road. When the deputy arrived he found a white Cadillac with all of the windows broken out.

As the deputy inspected the car further he found the car had been ransacked and the radio was also missing. The body of the car had been dented on all areas of the exterior with some type of a sharp object, police reports indicate.

Dispatchers attempted to make contact with the registered owner of the car but were unsuccessful. A tow truck was called to recover the vehicle until the owner could be reached. Police reports indicate the car was “totaled” by the damage.

No dollar amount of damage was listed for the car.
