Augusta man heading
east on Garrett Road had two deer run out in front of him just after
passing Bennie Dorn Road just before 8 pm. The man said he swerved to
miss one of the deer and struck the other causing him to lose control
of his Infiniti 4-door coupe and then rolling over on its hood.The car left the right-hand side of the road and rolled as it went down a small embankment. The man said he was uninjured in the crash due to wearing his seatbelt. He was heading to his North Augusta home at the time of the crash. Though he was not injured, his Infiniti was not so lucky. The car suffered moderate damage in the crash and had to be towed from the scene. The South Carolina Highway Patrol arrived on the scene and took over the investigation into the crash. It is unknown if any charges will be filed in the matter. For all
