  Westside man finds cows shot, one dead web posted December 28, 2006 WESTSIDE – A Westside man reported someone shooting two of his cows sometime between Thursday night and Friday morning. When a responding deputy arrived at the home on the 300 block of Key Road he found one cow dead and another wounded. The cow’s owner stated the value of the cows were $12,000. As the deputy investigated the scene the Department of Natural Resources were also called to the crime. The two cows, one a four-year-old Red Angus and the other a “yearling”, were photographed for evidence. A veterinarian was called to treat the wounded cow. The extent of its injuries were not reported. There were no listed suspects in the case. It is currently still under investigation. For
