 Westside Home Burglarized web posted January 9, 2013 WESTSIDE – A Westside woman called the Sheriff's Office after returning home Monday afternoon and finding her Outback Drive home burglarized. The person or persons struck the home sometime between 7:30 am and 6:45 pm when the woman returned and made off with at least $2,000 in electronics and jewelry. According to an incident report, the woman discovered a window in the back door had been broken to unlock the door and gain entry. Stolen from the home was a blue model DSCV1 Sony camera ($350), a Canon Power Shot picture printer model ELPH 100HS ($150), and assorted jewelry worth at least $1,500. The homeowner did not have time to do a full inventory at the time of the report. In addition to the stolen items, drawers in the kitchen had been gone through and a BB-gun that was located next to the front door was found in her bedroom.
